That's a good price. This store looks dodgy!!

It's funny how OZB downvote Russian roulette works, you copt it, yet another guy down below has the highest upvote by far (16+) for essentially saying the same thing 😂

          I died for your bargains…

I stopped contributing here. Admins don't care if members bully each other. Hey at least in the last couple of years they've stopped sending the victim advice to seek mental help.

@syousef: Better than reddit. I'd take looser moderation anyday… so long as the bargains are legit

I paid 700 for the 27gl850…..youll be fine

Good price, for years lowest was around $420-$430

Title is misleading as this doesn't appear to be an official LG ebay store. Member since August 2017 and only 54 items sold. Looks pretty sus ..

    • +6

Yeah agree looks dodgy, but Ebay have the "LG Authorised Seller" tick under the "Shop with Confidence section". Would hope that wouldn't be easy to fake.

Bought the through PayPal just have to deal with returns if needed

  • This okay for a kids monitor (Surface Laptop 4 connected)? Daughter doesn’t game but will need an external monitor soon

    • +12

      Seems overkill

      • thank you. Just seemed a decent price is all.

    • Probably not needed if she doesn't game

  • eBay Plus is not applicable to this.

Picked one up today at JB by price matching $359 from Prime deal and using the $30 off $300 code to bring it down to $329 cause I didn't want delivery or risk this eBay seller.

    • Whats the code?

      • Unique code via JB Perks. Just need to sign up.

  • Any good as a vertical monitor to sit next to an ultrawide?

  • Which one would you get? This one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/857855 or the LG?

    Thanks

    • Depends what you play. LG for the FPS games.

  • Advice needed… Should i get this ahead of a 4070 Ti Super build i plan to do over the next month or so? Or HODL? Not in a rush to upgrade to 1440p and can wait to Black Friday tbh

  • Noob about monitor here, but I need one for FPS games, would this be more suitable just for the higher refresh rate?

    • +2

It's a higher refresh rate BUT it's 1080p. I would pick the LG because 1440p is a lot nicer at the 27 inch monitor size - in some games you can see further away enemies more clearly. The other thing about refresh rate is you'll only see the extra if your framerate can reach it.

Different models, this is the 27GP850-B, not your 27GR75Q-B

    Too bad about the IPS

    • +1

Lol funny we're at this point. You won't get OLED anywhere near this price for a very long time

      • -3

I'm not talking about OLED. I'm talking about VA.

        • +1

          lol VA.

          • -1

@Budju: "A standard IPS monitor has a static contrast ratio of around 1,000:1, whereas a VA alternative has around 3,000:1, or even higher."

            • @Mr Bob Dobalina: bro I wouldn't touch a VA with a barge pole.

Also nano IPS isn't 'standard IPS'

              • -2

@Budju: How sad. I bet you've never even used one before.

                • +1

@Mr Bob Dobalina: VA is cheaper and an inferior panel technology, so if you think they're so good then congrats you will find them easy.

Is this a upgrade from dell S2721DGF

    • Not really. I've got the DGF and my next upgrade will be miniLED as a minimum. Much darker blacks but no risk of burn-in (like OLED).

    • side grade.
