If you've ever struggled with stripping very small wires, maybe this is for you as well as me.

  • Strips both stranded copper wire AWG34~AWG22 (SWG38~SWG23) & solid core AWG32~AWG20 (SWG36~SWG21)
  • Exceptionally sharp & precise carbon steel jaws
  • Clean edge to the insulation strip, with no damage to the copper conductor wires (unlike most automatic wire strippers)
  • Spring loaded for easy operation (handles latch shut for storage).
  • Oil-resistant TPR (thermoplastic rubber) grips - very comfortable to hold and use.

There's an attachment you can buy (not on discount) for setting depth, it's a bit agricultural though so I'll see how well the stripper works before ordering one myself.

According to the camels ATL is $32.16 a year ago, more recently the regular price is hovering around $57.

Which do you like the best?

        I like the 34~22~38

steel jaws come in useful too sometimes…

I guess it's important to consider not just the stripping performance, but also how they feel in the hand.

  • I called up a couple of mates told them I was looking at some real good strippers they wanted the link so I sent it let's see what happens.

These are bloody awesome for micro soldering and fine wires. I used them for stripping very thin kynar wires for retro console mods.

    • Cool, good to hear. Sounds like this will be just the ticket.
