As for whether the newer model is worth the extra dough or not is of course debatable.
Value wise the HT05 seems to be more attractive if you do not care about the improvements of the new model.

  • More reviews for the melobuds pro:
    Gamesky
    Picky Audio

I got a pair this week and so far so good. LDAC, multipoint, play/pause detection. The current downside i feel is the app custom eq not being saved properly… hopefully would be fixed soon via app or firmware update…

  • Melobuds pro or Baseus MA10 ? Need help, please.

    • YMMV but take a look at picky audio review mentioned above. I believe he scored the both the melobud HT05 and melobuds pro higher than the MA10.

      • Great, thanks for your help !!

  • Love my Melobuds

  • +2

Damn I paid 1 cent more for this back in May.

  • Myself and my 3 kids love the HT05. Wow they punch above their sticker price. ANC is brilliantly implemented and wind noise cancellation when I'm on the Pushy is top notch.

Haha 1c more, so it is. You win some you lose more…

  • I nabbed a pair of QCY Melobuds Pro for $49, my first pair of ANC buds upgrade from Soundpeats Air 3. They are an excellent fit for my ears and sound, and I love the full app tap control customisations for single, double, and triple taps and long hold taps.

I also nabbed a pair of Soundcore Liberty 4 NC bugs from Mydeal.com.au as they had $10 off, and I had $100 reward pts, so $139 - 110 = $29 bucks! Like Melobuds Pro, it also has full app tap control customisations for single, double, triple taps and long hold taps. So for both ANC buds, I can configure the exact same tap controls :)

Both sound great. The fit is better with QCY Melobuds Pro with stock tips. The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC stock tips seem to hurt my right ear a bit, so switched one one size smaller tips which seem better. Soundcore app definitely feels more polished though battery gauge is bar icon displayed only while QCY has actual % number displayed which I like better.

Got both as wanted to upgrade to ANC buds and also wanted better battery life than Soundpeats Air 3 which were around 4-5hrs for buds while QCY Melobuds Pro buds are at 7.5-8.5hrs and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC buds at 10hrs!

    • How do the Melobuds Pro compare to the Liberty 4 NC. Is the ANC and comfort comparable?

      • +1

Both earbuds are my first ANC supported ones so nothing to compare against other than each other. Liberty 4 NC definitely has better ANC than Melobuds Pro. But I got my Melobuds Pro a few days before my Liberty 4 NC, so for that time with nothing else to compare against, I thought Melobuds Pro were best pair of buds I ever used.

As to comfort, the Melobuds Pro definitely have a better out of box fit compared to Liberty 4 NC. The material used for the ear tip was more rubbery on Melobuds Pro so stayed in my ear canal firmer. The Liberty 4 NC ear tip material seems alot thinner and as your ear canal builds up mositure, it gets a bit slippery so you can notice it loosen from ear canal but at no time do Liberty 4 NC buds fall out of the ear as the shape fits my ear shape snuggly so it's always in.

Both have way better battery life easily surpassing 8hrs!

For Liberty 4 NC, I ended up buying several cheap Air Pod Pro 1 replacement ear tipsfrom Aliexpress that I read on reddit would work and got some in white, grey and black. I am using white pair of Air Pod Pro 1 medium tips where the ear tip material is more rubbery like Melobuds Pro and it's much better now. Ordered like 17 pairs of Air Pod Pro 1 tips from 4 stores for a total of $21. So Liberty 4 NC total cost is discounted $29 + 21 = $50 :)

        • Thanks!
