yep i found many australian stores are turning into $2 shops model.
kmart, bigw, target, officeworks, kogan, dicksmith, myers. even many brands at bunnings are junk. yes cheap but landfillI don't think it's always at this price though.
These products are reduced to clear atm.

Save your $1 and time. This won't stay flat when it's closed and will flap around when you carry it.
I bought one the other day for an iPad Air 5th gen. I paid $3 (delivered with OnePass).
They are really crap. Don’t shut properly, the front is too big. They are weird.
Anyways just for my daughters iPad until her good one arrives.
Its a buck. I expect it to be crappy

Worst iPod cover. I have ever seen wasted my money. It broke on the second day very cheap quality plastic. The magnet are very loose.
