  I've been looking at VIPRE a lot, haven't bitten the bullet yet though.

  If you use it, what is it like resource wise? Memory usage? Does it seem to slow the PC down at all when it's running? Download/install size?

  Sorry for so many questions! lol

    Exactly. And if you're running Windows then Microsoft Security Essentials does a fine job indeed, and FREE.

      Invalid reason for a neg.

      Also, I've had issues with MSE not detecting things, and virustotal.com has always reported them as being detected by VIPRE.

        So you're negging it because you have never used it.

        GFI is very light weight and non intrusive.

        I have been using it at home for over a year and have deployed it at several businesses without issue.

        You can see here MSE sits around 90% while GFI is more like ~97%
