Excellent mouse, excellent price. Have the normal G PRO which I bought back in 2021 and it's been fantastic for productivity and gaming.

    • Purchased one! Thanks

Honestly, this is the worst store I’ve ever dealt with.

    Warranty claim?
    Forget about it

    • +5

Have to agree. Poor customer service and terrible honouring warranty claims.

      • +2

        Better buying from Amazon then?

        • +1

Same seller just through Amazon. Also, orders are handled by the seller not Amazon so expect the same poor experience.

    • +2

is this the official logitech store?

Thx, about to buy one, now can pass

Eddy's the best! Chainsmoking in front of customers - man I miss that shit.

          • @Munki: He reminds me of a certain soup professional from Seinfeld for computer parts.. fmd

            • @mousie: No soup for you!

            • +2

@mousie: You know what? I never got that from him. I've had chats with him before and have seen him lash out at people who don't really know what they're after, but for people who know exactly what they want, he's perfectly fine. Oh shit am I Kramer in this situation?

    • +3

Direct with Logitech after 14 days with proof of invoice

      • Yeah I believe with Logitech you just RMA with them, not the store you bought from (regardless of what is standard practice in Australia). I haven't had the experience but this was the case with Razer for example.

Last time I tried to claim warranty from Logitech (few months ago). They gave me a ref code and told me to give that to my seller. They said if they declined, to come back.

I contacted my seller and they said they only gave 1 year warranty.

I went back to Logitech and they were like (oh we have 2 yr warranty on this mouse) no problem, we'll send you a replacement and you can keep or do whatever with the old one.

This was for the Logitech Superlight, which they replaced with the newer version since they aren't being produced anymore.

          Pretty good experience for me.

          • @kyoumei: I'll just put my experience here as well for others to consider as I've had a similar to you but once dealing directly with Logitechshop.

I purchased a mouse and headset from Logitechshop at different times that both required a warranty claim within their periods.

The mouse (back in 2013) was returned directly through Logitechshop and they replaced with a new unit, no issues.

The headset warranty was through Logitech directly in which they replaced the headset and upgraded from the G933 to G935 as the older model was no longer supported. The old damaged headset I got to keep also.

Obviously others may have had bad experiences with them but that hasn't been the case for myself.

    Ew proprietary charge cable

    • And it isn't even USB-C…

      • Yeh what is this the early 2010s

    • +4

      It's basically a micro-usb cable.

    • +6

      its just micro-usb no?

      • +4

Yes, I literally have a generic MicroUSB plugged into mine right now. For both charging and data.

        • Thanks, I thought I might have to cancel.

        • I just got the powerplay mat for $90. Pretty good so far.

        • +1

Ahh ok so it just looks proprietary. Still though micro USB is just as bad, wouldn't buy it based on that.

          • +1

@creesy: It looks proprietary because it has a plastic thing around it that clips into the mouse, I guess to stop it coming out during hectic mouse movements while gaming. But yeah any micro-usb works.

    • +1

Yeah the extra "fins" on the cable just give it a sturdier connection for when you're gaming connected but otherwise it's a micro-usb cable.

  • For $65 it worth the money I guess

  • Good price for the mouse but considering an attack shark x3 from Ali express is lighter and has good build quality for 20-35$ it seems better to spend 1/2 and get one of those.

    • +4

X3 has very bad quality in my experience. Sensor stops tracking during usage and generally cheap feeling mouse. Would rather get something like the VXE R1, VGN F1 or something from the one of the many other good Chinese brands these days.

  • good deal for $65, thanks op.

    • how did you get code to work? It's not applying for me even though I went through student edge

"Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again."

      • I clicked through Student Beans, copied the code, searched "Logitech G Pro", then clicked buy now. After that it let me use it.

        • cheers, got it to work :)

            • @gusk12: No longer avaliable for me? Just shows Logitech pedals and flight stuff when I search..

              • @buyer-123: make sure you are searching on normal ebay, not the code search

                • @gusk12: Still doesn't work, I get "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again."

  • Battery life is nowhere near close to the G305, right?

  • +1

Tis a great mouse for the price imo its heavy (not lightweight mouse) but mine lasted from 2019 -> 2024 without issue before the L click died.

Only big draw back imo is that its micro USB connected.

    • what's your definition of heavy? On the product page it says 80g… g703 is 95g, so it's lighter than 703… unless the product page is wrong?

      • +1

Switched to the superlight and the superlight feels a lot lighter aha may only be 20-30% also the weight never bothered me as its on the desk not like you're holding it up.

      • +1

I think anything higher than 70g counts as heavy IMO

  • cheers op, needed a new mouse as my G703 mouse wheel has started jumping around after 5 years. Thought about replacing the wheel but its likely the housing which is solder on… I use the charging mat which is fantastic, no need to worry about the cable for charging it.

    • Yeah it's usually the wheel encoder that fails. You can try to clean it with a bit of ethanol or WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner if you have that. Sometimes they just have to be replaced.

    • I've got 2 of G403 and 2 of G703 and I really love the ergonomics of this model (coz in fact G403 and G703 are the same thing). I use all of them in turns to balance the battery lifespan, and they're really fantastic and nothing to complain about after paired with powerplay mat. Now talking about your issue, I had 1 wheel and left key failed on a G403, and 1 left key double clicked on the other G403. No issues by far with G703s. I've upgraded all left and right keys along with wheels on both G403s, as precautions when I replaced the faulty parts. I say "upgrade" because I replaced them with the best of its series Omron micro switches, which has 6M instead of the original 2M clicks. I also replaced the wheels with TTC's best product which has a lifespan of 48M scrolls instead of the original measured at about 100K. These parts can be found on Aliexpress at around $3ish each. A bit of patience and soldering skills, they can accompany you for a very long time. I'm now so good at repairing them and they have been by my side since 2017.

  • Decent deal, although I personally felt the Shroud Edition design was a bit lazy. This store is a nightmare to deal with though, YMMV. I've had a bunch of issues getting a warranty claim sorted through them. Even a simple request like a digital tax invoice took several weeks worth of followups before it was acknowledged (they send paper invoices along with your shipment, but I always prefer PDFs).

    • +1

Its actually decent as the shroud edition has the newer switches which have less double click issues

  • I keep missing the old design of MX500-G700. This new flat type and G502-like feel worse.

  • If you're looking for a cheap wireless mouse with a quality sensor - i cant recommend the Ajazz enough - $50 and amazon warranty. I've been using mine for the last 6 months.

  • because of the double-click issue, I prefer GPX2.
It's really a great improvement with optical switches.
    And it comes with USB-C.

  • This was my previous mouse and I moved to a VXE R1 Pro. Was $40 and is much lighter (48g vs 80g iirc) has nicer clicks, way longer battery life, better sensor although idk if you'd ever notice and USB-C with a fantastic included cable. Only downside is QA is imperfect and long term warranty is suspect, but short term AliExpress are quite good nowadays. If it arrives with issues they'll sort you out with free returns or sometimes even a refund without return. Strong recommendation from me given it's quite comparable to a GPX superlight but smaller and lighter while being half the cost of a G Pro Wireless.

  • Help please.
Does this have middle button “tilt” or side scroll?

  • Not wireless but the most comfortable mouse i have used and has good specs for gaming, so long as you can still buy this mouse i will refuse to buy another..
