Eufy all the way. It locally stores your footage, no subscription service to amazon which funds Bezos yacht petrolAre you using a homebase or? Pretty sure if you are then the cameras connect to the homebase rather than your routers/AP right?

Does anyone know of a long term review for this unit? (But I suppose it was only out late last year)
I’ve had other eufy units under the sun and they did not last long…
This one mentions being able to mount the solar panel "10 feet" away, which I take to mean you could mount the camera out of direct sunlight & the panel elsewhere.
Yep, I suppose that's one way to make it last longer, I do like the look of when it is mounted on top of the camera itself tho :) otherwise the cable can be a be a bit ugly.
Agree 100%. That being said two of my Eufy Cam 2 Pro 2K units have been outside under the Qld sun for the past 2.5 years and they haven't missed a beat.
Tempting to get this to replace existing Ring spotlight cameras, anyone moved away from Ring to Eufy and are happy with their decision?
