Quite a good price on this 6-in-1 smart lock that Harvey Norman is trying to flog for $402. While I haven't used this one myself I have used others and they're really good for allowing access via your fingerprint with the option of using a passcode or key for entry.

Alternatively you can get the non-fingerprint version for $74.78, however it's also missing the emergency charging port if the batteries were flat so it's better go for the Pro.

i don't believe the wifi adapter is included, this model does not have inbuilt wifi.

      • Not this model. Built in wifi model is $180

        • Ahh the description is wrong.

    • True. Good price though

I installed one of the wifi ones a couple of weeks ago. The fingerprint sensor is absolute garbage and we've resorted to using codes only. So far the device has dropped off the network and became unreachable once. Took the batteries out and put them back in and it's come good again. The app is slow remotely and sometimes times out when trying to change a setting. I was thinking of putting a couple more in my house but might change brands as I feel this isn't as reliable as it should be, but when it works it works well.

Mine okay nothing like yours but yes app is slow af. But fingerprint readings just fine

      • I've tried different fingers, positions, people etc and it works maybe 10% of the time.

        • For me, works 95% of the time. 4 people

It works alright for us. Sometimes plays up for my daughter's little fingers. Also once started to play up with my partner's fingerprint, I deleted and added it again and no problem so far..

Found the same thing….. fingerprint unlock was unreliable and at one stage froze up the whole lock so had to open it with the key. Now have the lock on a less important door and only use the keypad or Bluetooth.
I would strongly recommend putting the physical key in an external lockbox just in case.

      • I make sure my wife and I each have a physical key. Just can't trust it to work as it should.

    • I own this as well and it's crap, I'm looking forward to replacing it.

      • It is full of bugs, and the app is still clunky as hell.

        • I don't need much. Just for it to recognize my finger.

  • The wifi model is $180 still good i bought last year 195

  • I have the z-wave version and we never use the app - mostly fingerprint and rarely pin. We use it with HA - works nicely. Battery life is 4-5 months with around 10 times a day lock/unlock (again it's z-wave, not wifi).

I've been considering getting a z-wave dongle for HA so I can use the lock there. What dongle do you use?

      • +1

Silicon Labs UZB-7 Z-Wave 700 Stick from ozsmartthings some time ago for $60.

  • Just grabbed the new updated Bolt variant.
    So far so good.

  • Is there any difference between this and the non fingerprint version apart from the fingerprint and missing the emergency charging port?
