  • Are these good for Steam Deck?

  • Is this good for the main windows drive? or should I get 2tb version?

I currently have 512gb and looking to install GTA 6, RDR2, COD black ops cold war, Warzone 2, PUBG

    • for a desktop or laptop?

      • Laptop

        • If you can fit the larger sized 2280 sized drives it would be better, but yes this should work….. As for capacity….bigger is always better and games are hitting 100gb plus more often…..

          • @Forfiet: oh Do'h, didn't realize this is the size 2230. But yeh I'm looking to upgrade my 512gb NVME and weighing up between 1tb or 2tb

Any recommendations which brand is the best?

            • @Homr: I honestly pick up the cheapy kingston and crucials myself…..Most brand nvme are usually fast enough for gaming at present…..

              Kingston - NV2 and Crucial P3 are under $100 for 1tb….

              • @Forfiet: This will also be my windows drive aswell so boot up speed and opening up programs fast is also my priority.

                • @Homr: Should be fine, but hopefully someone else will chip a comment in….otherwise look for a nvme with a dram cache maybe?

2tb 2230 was only US$88.90 few weeks ago. not sure about the diff of SN740 vs SN770M
