First time posting a deal, I've had the Illustrated Editions of Lord Of The Rings and the Hobbit sitting on my wish list for ages and they're now on sale as part of prime. Last I looked The Lord Of The Rings [Illustrated Edition] was like $72 so seems like a pretty good deal if you're after these books.

    Entirely different, those are illustrations by a modern artist (someone who worked on the films) and are in separate books. The deal here is a single book with all three LOTR books in it (it's 1,200 pages long, it's huge), with the original drawings by Tolkien (there's 30 odd, and a map by his son).

        no probs. I've had my eye on these for a while, there are so many versions but these seem a great option. Odds are it'll wind up unread on a bookshelf and I'll re-read the ebook, but I still want them.

        At least it's easier to justify than the deluxe illustrated editions

  I have the LOTR book already it's a pretty decent edition for the money asked. I'd like to own the other two books to complete the set one day.
