Went to pick up a new thermopro thermometer for around 18 bucks and Amazon shoved this in my face. For an extra tenner it's a no brainer.

All available colours are at this price. The pro is also on sale if you need the longer tip but at 56 bucks there may be better options out there.

  I've had one of these for years. Well built, not lightning quick to get a read, but gets the job done. No backlight though which can be annoying.

  Had one for 4 years. Still working perfect. Temp in a second. Sturdy. Does the job well. I had a cheaper one before it and broke after 8 months.
