Philips Cordless Bodygroom Essential BG2024 $37.00 @ Harvey Norman

20

I just picked up one of these, the reviews are pretty good and the price is right. According to google shopping the cheapest is $36.00 + $9.95 postage. It scanned for $59.95 at the checkout so take a print out of the page, its also in the HN catalogue on lasoo.

    • I want my $2.05 back :(

  • I think i got one of these for 20 bucks at Big W. They're ok, but nothing special. Mine seems to pinch a little, like it pulls the hair before it cuts it. Kinda annoying. But waterproof is definitely handy :) Wouldn't pay more than 30 for it tho.

i hope it's better than version 1 (black and blue)
the metallic tip keeps pulling hair and un-clips from the body.
Also, one night while i was sleeping this thing scared the sh@t out of me.
For some reason the water-sealed motorand battery created a vacuum that sucked in the rubber button and turned the thing on! It also happened to my father in-law who was using the same model :P

    • Hope you weren't watching the movie Paranormal Activity that night ! lol :)

  • Can I use this to shave my clucker?

    • +2

I have only briefly used it, so far it seems its good at shortish hair but longer hair is a bit of a challenge. I'll report back on clucker suitability later but I've read all the instructions and there is no warning about shaving in.. sensitive.. areas.

      • "….the metallic tip keeps pulling hair and un-clips from the body"

Would you let that thing near your clucker? If you're into that stuff, may I suggest an epilator. ;)

No amount of votes will ever make up for the risk I took in answering this question… but lets just say if bowling balls grew hair this thing was designed to sort it out.

Did you just… no wait, forget that I asked. Better that I don't know. :P
