Can't see it lower elsewhere or previously lower, limited time deal (currently 1% claimed).
Also on sale:
Doesn't seem to be Prime Day related? Anyway, go nuts.

Any more info on this deal? I can't see it obviously online.
Was on during last weekend. I believe it is still available - even the salesperson in the store didn’t realize it.
Ghost deal? No one can see it
I went instore earlier today and can confirm they have the deal ongoing while stocks last.
Is the deal with a specific motherboard? or a selection?
@cmdbash: No, any mobo can do as long as it’s LGA1700, even the cheapest one
12900KS..Good CPU and great price @ $299 but shocking power consumption.
Anyone think it's a good idea to swap my i513600k out for this? I feel like having 8 P cores would be better than my 6, right?
Only if whatever you are doing makes good use of them. For a lot of things 13600k is all you need.
Sacrificing a little gaming performance for a little multithreaded performance, it's an expensive sidegrade.
Although the 12900KS may have a slightly higher P core frequency, the cores are not comparable to 13th and 14th gen. From 13th gen onwards the P cores have 2MB L2 cache per core vs 1.25MB on 12th gen.
This means your single core performance may be the same or higher on your 13600K.
Centre Com is doing an instore special 12900ks for $299 if you buy LGA 1700 motherboard with it. Pretty cracka deal
It's definitely higher. I have a mild overclock on it running at 5.4ghz. I'll just wait until I see the 13700k on sale and hold out for more cache. Thanks
13600k is better for gaming as its Pcores are faster
Wonder if this would make a good server cpu. If only it had more I/o
Almost, my 11700 alert not getting much action.
If you are planning to buy a 12900K, get a 12900KS in store @centrecom. They currently have a deal where if you buy a mobo together, you get $200 discount - effectively paying only $299 for a 12900KS.
