  • I'm guessing these don't work on the original one blade base?

    • +6

According to the Philips website, it fits on all models.

      • Awesome I did have a look but couldn't find anything. For this price I'll give it a go. Cheers!

        ???

        Fits with all OneBlade products: OneBlade (QP25xx, QP26xx, QP27XX, QP28XX), OneBlade Pro (QP6504, QP653x, QP654x, QP665x) except for QP1XXX, QI1XXX, QP652x, QP651x, QP662x, QP6505

        • sad. I have 6520 :\

          OneBlade
          Many shavers

        • Thanks for the heads up, I too miss out having a QP6510.

    • +1

They work on the original base.
The original blades cut better than these.

      • +2

I find the opposite. Guess it depends on how you shave

  • how often you have to change the blade for this?

    • +5

With my regular one blade I get about 3 or 4 months pretty easily. Could probably get a little more if I wanted to. I shave probably twice a week with mine. Wouldn't use anything else to be honest. Doesn't give you a razor close shave but it's close enough and I haven't cut myself in years!

    • +5

I get about 6 months with mine but usually don't change them until I drop and break the blade

  • +13

Good price but I don't have anywhere to store 1,440 replacement blades.

    • +2

It's OK, the blades in these are really small. In fact, just looking at it you can't even see all 360.

  • Anyone tried these flex ones and care to comment on worth compared with standard version of the blades they've peddled for years?

I didn't know these newer variant existed!

  • +1

I swear blades are up there with ink cartridges in terms of inflated RRP. I just buy replacement blades from Aliexpress for $1-2 a blade.

    • how do they compare?

      • +4

Last time I got bootleg ones, they were awful and ripped out hairs rather than cut them. Maybe SnowDragon had better luck than me though.

        • +2

Bought some bootleg ones off eBay and they were terrible

        • +1

new bootleg ones were worse than the really old blade I replaced

      • Haven't purchased 360 blades - but last time I got Mach 3 blades, I purchased 40 blades for $30 in June 2022 and only had to restock last month - shaving every 2nd or 3rd day. My father also uses the same blades and doesn't complain.

        YMMV I guess.

      • Every so often I forget and try buying cheap ali or ebay blades again. They always end up being blunter than the ones I'm throwing out.

I put cheap blades in the same category as cheap usb sticks. They're all inevitably a scam.

    • +1

How do they compare? Fyi coming up around 6 AUD from that link

      • Must have misread the price of these ones. Damn pricey for some blades.

        • +1

probably because these ones have moving parts as opposed to the mach 3 blades you're experienced with.

    • Oh, I didnt know that (after buying $91 of these in teh deal above). Ill order some of the aliexpress's to check

  • Any good one blade deals?

  • Hmmm. 5 razor blades from shaver shop cost $5.49. Work well with my safety razor.

    • +1

      OK

Whats the best Philips Oneblade shaver?

  • The blades I buy locally are made in germany, yet the last batch I purchased from amazon were made in china and didn't last as long. Anyone else notice any differences?

    • +1

Oneblade is only manufactured in the Netherlands and Indonesia so if you got a batch from china, it's likely non-genuine. This version, the QP440/50, is manufactured in the Netherlands which the German listing confirms.

  • +1

I've been using 360s for a few months now. Compared to original blades, 360s are smoother for me. Longevity will be probably on par. It's been 4 months now and still fine. I should get 6 months out of them. I shave every couple of days. 360 blades are made in the Netherlands, standard ones in China.
For me it's all 360 now, not going back unless originals are like half price.

  • FWIW, delivery = $22.67 for non Prime members.
