It’s still cheap without PS Plus - $2.09 can’t even get a Dare Iced Coffee on special for that price!

PSA for platnium hunters, when i played this a few years back you could not earn the platinum on this game with the digital edition as it is updated to the latest patch, which glitches one trophy.

If that is still the case you'll need a physical disk to install the day one version without patches and have to play offline to earn one trophy for buying all the cars if i remember correctly.

    • The physical copy is currently $36 at EB Games so unless you’re that keen on the plat it seems an excessive price to pay. Thanks for the note though I had no idea. Annoying glitch!

There’s a tool called PSX helper that allows you to download the v1.00 of any digital game from the PSN Store.

I grabbed it off a link on PSN Profiles, and it does work. Completely safe, you just need to change a couple of settings on your PS4 network settings and have the tool running on a PC whilst downloading so it blocks any patches/updates.

There’s this one that has more info on the tool…

Looks like mindless fun for a few hours. Good for 69 cents. Nice.

    Thank you

Thanks, grabbed it - don't need to research anything about it for that price.

Play one race in the game and you’ve got your moneys worth haha

3 and 4 have no ai and are really bad from memory, they were made by the new company for the publisher.

Nothing like 1 and 2, which were popular at LAN parties

  • Can this also be played on PS5

    • I assume so - I have a PS5 and have it downloaded but haven't booted it up to start playing yet.

Grabbed it. Tried it. It's fine on PS5.
      Graphics are better than expected.
It doesn't do couch co-op but does have a turn-based party mode.

I'm not aware of any PS4 games that don't work on PS5

      • Lit finite thank you for confirming

      • Only 9 games doesn't work on PS5. 2 of those I have, Hitman Go and Robinson the Journey. Can't remember rest of the games cause they were forgettable!! 🫠
