Brilliant 12V 150W/200W Regulated LED Transformers $15/$20 in-Store Only @ Bunnings

120

Brilliant Lighting regulated, waterproof (IP68) transformers.

These may be slightly niche but a great price for what they are. They are designed as waterproof garden LED light transformers but can also be used as pretty decent 12v car fridge transformers with a small bit of cable modification, or any application here you want a regulated 12v supply. They are proper Aust. standards approved unlike the random stuff on eBay. https://brilliantlighting.com.au/product/12v-dc-exterior-gar…

There is some stock here and there but not everywhere.

Great find, these are perefct to run pumps and systems in a hydroponic setup.

    • Tomatoes?

      • If that's what you want to call the choof

        • Well then his user name checks out…

Also in the ACT it doesn't look like they are on clearance

  • Scored mine at a local for $5 each :D Took all of them, because they're so damn cheap for projects!

Just be aware the total output is split over the channels.

    • Do you know if the output wires are grouped together?
Was hoping to change it out to a single female 12v car power socket with appropriate increase in wire rating

200W Aus standards approved outdoor transformer for 20 bucks .. now that is a great deal .. unfortunately most bunnings in WA metro do not even sell a 200W transformer .. true bargain this..

  • my local store has stock but showing full price. in vic

    • It is definitely a deleted item. Did you get it scanned?

  • Definitely full price still at Blacktown, I got them to scan it and was still $75 for the 200W.

    • If you show them the photo and let them know it's a deleted item. They are usually pretty good

Unfortunately no go at Blacktown, said needed Brilliant Rep or Store Manager to review and mark it down……. Lady at Seven Hills Bunnings was a mole and acted like she was moving hell and earth by doing me a huge favour by taking $25 off from it.
