Is 3.6v enough to do much more than engraving or plastic work?

    • you're probably not going to be doing anything heavy duty with this.

        • cut down bolts

        Not happening.. 🤣

        • Pretty sure it'll cut the plastic bolts from my son's toy drill bench set

          • @10101010101: If it's a solid-through plastic bolt, even then it's going to be a struggle.. 😅

Battery doesn’t last long and have to constantly recharge, won’t work with charging cord plugged into it so have to wait for a full battery charge up

  • Price-matching ALDI 12V Mini Grinder?

    • Nah! You nailed it here

      https://www.aldi.com.au/special-buys/special-buys-sat-20-jul…

It is the FERREX rotary tool in that link above.

      • I was going based off the price. The one you linked is corded and $19. The Ozito in OP is cordless and ~$29.

Edit: not 100% sure if the ALDI one is corded or cordless.

        • Actually, they have both in that special.

          Rotary Tool - Corded - $19.99
          Mini Grinder Set - 12v Cordless - $29.99

That's a weird definition. Lithium is an element, atomic number 3. It's a soft shiny metal.

      Lithium salts are medication.

        That's a weird definition.

        Tell that to the government…

        • "Lithium" is a song by the American rock band Nirvana, written by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It appears as the fifth track on the band's second album, Nevermind, released by DGC Records in September 1991.

They have both a corded and a cordless in that special. So make sure you get the right one.

The "Rotary tool" is corded and 19.99. The "mini grinder" is 12v cordless and 29.99.

          • @muddrex: Bah, so it is corded lol. I'll check it out anyway if I get around to it.

      • nice, I've also modded an old electric toothbrush to use sanding discs
