  • Can’t see $100 Netflix gift card only $20
Does buying 5x$20 get the $15?

    • +2

Netflix cards are variable so you can load $100.

  • thanks OP, grabbed some timezone tix to stack with the next double dollars

  • Tempted by the uber eats but my uber one runs out next month. Don't think I'll be using it too much

    • Cycle those free trials with CC if you can?

  • Thanks OP. Pity we can't use Amazon GC balance to pay for these, but still a great deal.

  • +2

Buying NFlix GCs are for those who don't know.

    • ?

      • Also would like to know this, but I guess we don't know (hoping not related to piracy).

  • No way/hacks to get a discount on Airbnb with these is there?

    • also looking!

    • Same, looking for it but cant find any

  • +1

Does anybody know if Prime members can receive more than one $15 promotional credit with the purchase of Netflix Gift Cards? Ie if I buy multiple gift cards valued at $100 in multiple transactions, would I receive one $15 promotional gift card per transaction? I suspect it's only 1 promotional credit per member, not per $100 spend?

    • Don't think so.

      T&C says

      · The promotional credit can only be redeemed once per customer on eligible items.

      • You're right. Thanks. I couldn't find the terms and conditions so phoned Amazon….the customer representative confirmed it's one promotional credit per customer.

    • Ya a few people have replied to similar questions above, looks like its limited to 1

  • Any foreseeable issues with buying a few variable load Ultimate gift cards and using them for a large purchase at Officeworks (eg iPhone)?

    • +2

Nope. I did this at JB Hi-Fi for my iPhone a few months back.

    • +3

No issues but would work in store only

  • +2

Perfect. If you do it in the right order of purchase you can get the credit from the Netflix card and then use it on the Uber Eats card! I hate Amazon credit usually since it makes it that much harder to buy things for cashback and risk of returns so using it on a GC makes sense.

    • The promotional credit is not transferable and may not be resold, redeemed for cash or applied towards the purchase of any gift cards sold at Amazon.com.au.

      • Looks like it worked for me. My $200 Uber Eats GC cost $161 - so that's $200 less the $24 (12% off) less the $15 promo credit.

        • you right despite conditions it did work

  • +4

unpopular opinion - Even after 12% discount on UberEats gift cards… UberEats still is expensive and sucks

    • +1

Just gotta find the good deals

    • +1

they got wicked deals for grocery shopping every now and then.

I had like 3 x $20 off this week. Been getting 3 deliveries of 3x1kg beef mince and 1x3L milk for $25 delivered (before uber eats discounted gift cards) the last week from coles

      • Yeah I seem to get $20 off $40 grocery purchase every week

  • Has anyone got this to work with the eFun gift card. It doesn't show a discount in cart and amazon help is useless. Is this targeted (besides being a PRIME member - which I am)?

  • Is it sold out? all these are coming up at full price for me at checkout

    • Are you a prime member?

      • yes

        • that hurts, I looked into it after your comment and was able to see the discount at checkout.

  • Sold out :(

Edit: after refreshing page it appears to now take off the discount in the cart

  • My cards have been at scheduled status for over an hour - fingers crossed it doesn't get cancelled!

    • I got an Uber eats card just now delivered in a couple of minutes.

  • +1

Has anyone received their ultimate gift cards? How long does it usually take?

    • +1

Waiting for almost 3 hours already

    • ordered at 4.30am, haven't received it yet

  • Anyone received their $15 credit on the Netflix gift card?

I bought and received the card 2 hours ago.

Although I note this in the T&C:

"For Qualifying Purchases, a promotional credit of $15 will be automatically applied to your Amazon.com.au account that was used to make the Qualifying Purchase within 24 hours after your order is completed."

    • Promo credit and Netflix card came through in a few minutes.
Then used credit to buy another GC, also arrived in minutes.
      Using Zip.

      • got gc immediately, but no promo code…was i supposed to add any promo code during checkout?

        • Promo credit. It just showed up when I bought the next GC.

  • I ordered Ubereats & Doordash - have not received anything for a couple hours.

    • Same. Ordered Uber 5 hours ago and no gc yet.

    • Doordash came quick, Uber and timezone still waiting 4 hours later

    • Check your junk folder, thats where mine was sitting

      • nothing in my junk either - 6 hours ago…

  • +1

I bought a $100 Netflix at 5am and the order is still processing, no gift card or bonus as yet :(

    • I am also waiting for them since 8am

    • Same

  • Has anyone used the Temple and Webster ones as payment and used multiple cards as payment?

    • Ordered the cards almost an hour and a half ago and nothing so far. No charge on the card so they must be getting absolutely creamed with orders. H

      • 5 hours on and nada. 1 suspect this may go the distance which is frustrating.

        • Almost at 20.5hrs now…tick tock……

          • @ph81: Ok, so I received a dodgy phone call with an automated voice and I hung up.
I then checked my email and Amazon had sent an email saying they will call me to confirm my gift card purchase.
They rang again and I answered and spoke to a guy who asked a couple of simple questions. It sounded like he was working from home haha
He then told me he was processing the cards and I'd see them in about 10mins. Low and behold they came through.
Cards have been used and work luckily haha

I jumped onto Live Chat and was informed that the Ultimate Gift Cards require manual verification from the bank, and this is a process that takes 1-2 business days. How annoying.

  • +1

Large value transcations can take up to 2 business days according to Amazon live chat.

    • Large value transactions are no longer $500.
Deemed by the disciples of Ozbargain.

      We have spoken.

    • I bought hundreds worth and they came through in minutes. Paid by Zip - might have something to do with it.

      • Paid by CC is the same, they need to check for validation of payment methods for 1-2 days

  • +2

I ordered an $300 Ultimate gift card and it stuck for hours, without charging my credit card. Just bough 2 x $150 (in two separate transactions) and received them almost instantly. Then cancelled $300 order

    • I bought a $100 one whilst my larger one was pending… an hour later they're still both pending.

  • First buy Amazon gift card and then use it to buy other gift cards. Is it possible ?

    • +2

      No

  • My second Uber gift card still hasn’t arrived. Ordered at 10am right after the other one and that came almost instantly.

    • Came through the next morning so about 20 hours after ordering.

  • Otf can you use gift card balance and uber one. Removes all my discounts

  • does anyone know how to check where the $15 promo credit is applied? its not in the gift card balance section.

    • +1

just try a purchase and it should show the credit to be applied for a future purchase

      • This just answered my question lol. I made a purchase today and it said $15 promotional credit and I had no idea where it was from. Now I know lol

  • Ordered my cards at 3pm and received by 4pm

  • Ultimate is taking forever to arrive !

  • Anyone know what to do after not receiving for 12hr, do i need to contact them?

  • Awesome, Doordash card received within 2 mins. Got a great bottle shop on there that doesn't jack prices and promo for 20% off + no fees. Adding an extra 12% off is just the cherry on top.

  • Uber and DoorDash received and activated

Ultimate Eats is proving to be a nightmare. After downloading their app the gift card has disappeared from there and get gift card can’t be found when clicking through via the link Amazon emailed me. Nightmare

    Anyone else buy Ultimate Eats?

    • Managed to get it working. I think it just needed time to activate because it kept failing activation for Apple Pay but then worked a short time later.

  • Anyone ordered Netflix GC and not received it? Ordered tonight 6:30pm and it’s now 11:06pm. Still nothing and not in spam/junkmail folder either.

    • Some gift cards are delayed by Amazon by 24 hours or more. It's fairly normal but annoying because they said it will be delivered within 1-2 hours.

      • +1

Looks like they need to update their messaging than from “may take up to 1-2 hours”, to “may take up to 24 hours”.

        • I have waited over a day lool

  • Grabbed an Everyone Ultimate Gift Card. Does anyone know if you can split the balance up with multiple retailers

Also I couldn't find anywhere if there is a limit on how many Utimate GCs could be bought with the 8% off promo under the one Prime acc?

    • +1

With the Ultimate Everyone eGift card, you can split the balance with multiple retailers.

$500 is the largest denomination available and you can buy multiples up to the total order limit of $10,000.

For example, if you need $10,000, then you buy 20 x $500 and with 8% off ($800), you will pay $9,200.

  • Been over a day and still waiting for the Uber and Timezone cards

  • My bank took almost a day to process the transaction. Check your card.

  • Has anyone received their ultimate giftcards? Taking a long time..

  • Need eBay:(

  • Ordered $100 Netflix around 2pm Friday. Received gift card but no promo credit.

Same thing happened last time during one of these promos. Never again.

    • +2

Same here…I got on a call with Amazon, first they wanted the screenshot and were saying that it was exhausted that is why I did not receive the GC. When I argued that this screenshot is from now and they need to check their records when I purchased the GC, they said I needed to call Netflix for this…

This pissed me off and I said I am not happy, please I want to talk to a supervisor, they said max they can offer me a $5 GC…I said no, let me speak to a supervisor because you advertised $15 and then they relented by adding the promo code onto my account on a different order #!!!

I guess lesson is Amazon is also not adverse to false advertising techniques or I just got a poor support rep who thought they were trying to save their company money, but ended up wasting my and their time of about 30 minutes!

      • +1

No that is definitely not a one off support rep Amazon's customer service is now appaling. I recently had the worst experience ever out of all the stores I've shopped at and all due to their customer support. Long story short they lied and put me at a loss of ~ $150 and no matter how many times I called to recoup it and fight against the unfairness they just wouldn't do anything leaving me helpless

  • +2

Had to waste 20 minutes to argue that I should have received $15 promo credit for Netflix card.

    Amazon is so dodgy

    • -1

Not promo credit but discount (% off)

  • Disregard

    • Will do.

  • anyone stuck with ultimate gift cards?
i called amazon and they just told me to wait. frustrating as unsure how long id be waiting for
