            @stickymoo: Run rate in my houshold is two failed of five, both repaired. Posting umbrellas sucks.

    • I also have a metro which needs repair. What did yours need to have fixed and how much did it cost?

      I'm wondering whether it's worth bothering.

      • Just reach out to Blunt and check. It's better on the planet to repair than purchase new.

      • So my two problems were:

        (1) the end cap failed, so when I opened the umbrella, the plastic top part of the umbrella literally launched like a projectile. And hit my new car with a thwack. Very cranky about this.
        (2) so I sent it back for repair, and it was returned with a creaky wobbly handle, so sent it back for repair again. still haven't got it back.

        The thing is I must have used this umbrella 5 or 6 times. It's been out of action for quite a while now, when I needed it. So even though the repairs were covered under warranty, I ended up having to buy a new umbrella (and definitely not a blunt). Last time I'm dropping $100 on a "quality" umbrella.

    • Let me look into that for you, can you DM us please. It could be that your account was flagged by Shopify.

    • Actually I just looked at your order, yes, Shopify thinks you're a bad person (credit card fraud flag). But we don't, so we will let this through without the screenshot. Please note that we ask you to hide any sensitive information on the screenshot for your safety. The reason we ask this is to prove you have access to your internet banking and therefore own the credit card. We have alternative ways to verify also if needed… but all good on this one as we are letting it through.
