8400F-7900GRE-JULY

Hi folks,

Firstly thanks to everyone who ordered over the EOFY period. It was one of the busiest periods we've had, and we're really appreciative of the support.

For July, we've got a couple of new kids on the block- firstly the RX 7900 GRE - plenty of requests for this over the journey and there is now sufficient stock in the country for us to get to work on it and do what we do best. We've paired it with the new Ryzen 5 8400F 6 core/12 thread processor - this offers similar performance to the 7500F (lower L3 cache but similar framerates according to loads of comparisons online), with a handy little saving to get into the AM5 platform.

A reminder that all TechFast PCs are:

  • Unmatched in terms of value, $ per frame, bang for buck - you name it, it does not get cheaper
  • Fully professionally built and stress tested
  • Provided by the most active and committed OzB PC builder for 5+ years - we are here to stay while many others have come and gone, leaving Ozbargainers in the lurch
  • Plug and play with all drivers installed, no matter which OS you select
  • Fully supported by a local team via email and here on Ozbargain
  • Fully insured for transit at no extra cost
  • Fully warranted with transit covered both ways in the event of warrantable faults

AMD Ryzen 5 8400F | RX 7900 GRE 16GB Gaming PC: $1588 after 8400F-7900GRE-JULY

  • AMD Ryzen 5 8400F 6 core / 12 thread processor with stock cooler
  • AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16GB graphics card (likely Gigabyte and Asus)
  • AMD B650M WiFi motherboard (various brands in use, guaranteed MSI Gaming Plus WiFi upgrade available)
  • 16GB 5200MHz DDR5 RAM (Team T-Force on hand)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD (Kingston currently in use)
  • 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU (XPG on hand)
  • Leaper Air Maxx White RGB case

Cheers
Luke, Caleb and Zac

Choosing the 8400F over the 7500F is an odd choice…

    • +2

Chances are they buy cpus in bulk off aliexpress and as such get whatever is cheaper between a few cpus

      • Am I bad at searching? I don't see a single listing on Aliexpress

        • Probably not AliExpress but rather direct from AMD/supplier

    • +9

Techfast is extremely established on OzB

      • ya i can see that from the down votes~
but stills, i don't see any ABN or address or phone number from their website.
is that too much to ask from a company that taking my money and credit card details?

    • So far, I have not heard of any issues about TechFast apart from when they first started (slow delivery and sloppy building, but that has been fixed and is no longer an issue). Given that the price of the PC is cheaper than buying the parts and building it yourself, the fact that it comes with a warranty from them is a surprise. Sure, one year is a bit short, but all the parts should still have their own warranty, so it's not a big issue.

If subcomponents were purchased by Techfast, and you as a buyer have no proof of purchase, would any parts warranty be honoured by suppliers? I would have assumed no.

      • -2

no, u won't get any more warranties from the manufactory or supplier.
about the "slow delivery and sloppy building", i still can see complaints from last month's deal, been fixed ??hehe

  • I have an active order with them that's still within the 5-10 business day ETA, though it'd be more encouraging if they cleared their backlog before taking on more orders.

    • +1

I'm also waiting for mine. Business day 11 now.

2 emails so far asking about eta, no response yet.

Sent a previous PM for a separate query else previously and no reply.

    Hi @techfast @luketechfast

Been trying to contact you via email and fb regarding issues we are having with a computer your company built that we bought from you.. but not getting any responses unfortunately

    • -1

      Hi there,
If you can reach out to me with your order number via DM's we can look into this for you and have the team get back asap

      • +1

Hi I contacted them directly and they are ignoring me and not responding.. haven’t heard from them in probably a week now.. allied told me your company will sort it out but your company isn’t assisting with a positive response unfortunately.

Currently up to the 18th business day and my PC has yet to be built. Company emails stating there's a huge backlog. But you can jump on their website and they're advertising 1-3 business days… Getting fed up now. No compensation offered other than a mouse pad I don't need

  • Hey Luke,

Been a while since you've posted a deal - do you have anything lined up?

  • Looks like some are having issues with order delays, bit worried to place an order. Some receiving faulty computers, any comments on this Luke?
