Don't have any desire to put that junk on my PC. Always online also means they will keep pushing you to buy stuff from their store and free data for WB.

  • I bought the digital deluxe on steam a few days ago… 😓

      Steam refund policy?

      • +1

I've played 5 hours worth, but I was still able to request a refund. I've sent the request so let's see how it goes

        • +4

          Good luck!

@TeddyBear: They've just refunded me, i'm surprised how quick they got back. 10/10 for steam support

            • +2

@FDA2021: Glad you got your money back. If it were only a day later it may have been too late!

      • +1

I played only about 5 minutes. Hooray!

  • Nice.

  • Nice, will actually give prime gaming a go

  • +6

Suicide Squad is nice but Chivalry 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider have been given away for free before on the Epic Store.

    • +8

If you already have them, you can always share the love with your fellow ozbargainers by putting your unused keys in the [Code Request Megathread] Amazon Prime Gaming Codes

      • +11

Unfortunately Epic game redemptions do not display keys. Prime Gaming accounts are already linked to Epic accounts so it does the redeeming in the background. No way to share.

  • +5

Suicide Squad is a waste of money even free

  • +1

If anyone doesn't want their suicide squad kill the justice league code, I'll be happy to receive it

    • +6

Sorry to disappoint you but there won't be a code. It will be redeemed via the linked Epic account set up previously.

  • +3

Worth playing Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League for just story that length is about 10 hours. Endgame is extremely repetition.

I believe any free Epic Games Store games on Amazon Prime Gaming doesn't come with code instead auto added to linked Epic Games Store account. Free GOG games on Amazon Prime Gaming come with code though.

Bought Suicide Squad a few months back on ps5, as a big Arkham fan, I personally think the story is fine and people just had a massive overblown reaction to it even though that was clearly the idea behind it. Gameplay is very bland though, gets repetitive around 10 hours in when all the gadgets and mission varieties have finished being introduced. It's pretty fun at the start, when feels a lot like Arkham combat with guns but eventually all the missions just feel the same because they all take place in the overworld (a bit like if Arkham had all it's missions in the outside open world and nowhere else). Also I heard the patches have tanked it's PC performance so there's that… Game looked fine on ps5, ran at constant 4k60fps. Can't argue with free though, as they say.

  • Alright, nice deal. I have quite a lot of games that I havent played yet but bring it on. So, Suicide squad. Is this the one that several youtubers criticised a lot for looking worse than the old one? Or is this deal the old one?

Personally i thought both of them looked alright in those comparison videos that were going around

Then again i am losing track of all these games, its like there’s game choice overload nowadays

    • Here's Digital Foundry's take on it. The quality is there, it just wasn't the game Rocksteady fans were anticipating.

      • +1

Ah cool thanks. been watching your linked review for a little while and still watching. interesting review. It does look like quality so far.

  • Anyone not already playing Chivalry definitely grab it!

    Lots of fun.

Also tomorrow teenage mutants ninja turtles shredder's revenge will be available for free on prime gaming.

  • +6

On a side note, what's happened to all Prime Gaming in-game giveaways etc? There is literally one for Lost Ark, there used to be heaps of in-game freebies for a whole range of games?

    • +1

I noticed that too. The free items were pretty shitty so it's no big loss to me.

    • +5

Yeah seems like Amazon cancelled their contracts with the gaming companies so they don't offer loot anymore. I used to love these so yeah, that's sad.

  • Anyone able to claim this successfully?

Every time I try to claim, it says I must link my Epic Games account, takes me to the Epic Games login, I choose Link Accounts, and I'm redirected to Prime Gaming's free games page, and repeat.

    • I was able to claim no problems, my epic account is already linked though
