I have seen tons of fake/compatible once, but good deals are hard to come by.
I got burnt 18 months ago, bought one for $50 and it developed stick drift a month later. Ended up on an 8bitdo Ultimate as I was using for PC and hall effect is flawless.
These should be like $49 at this point.

I thought the non genuine ones would be easy to spot, by not having a sticker at the back, or the ps logo at the centre?
they make counterfit ones, they look very similar, especially from pictures if you are buying online, the prices of these are ridiculous though, at this point, you are better off paying an extra $170 and getting a whole ps4 console with it, these should be $40 tops, the ps5 dualsense is constantly cheaper than the dualshock 4 and that just isnt right

Well I have no experience with sony controllers on PC but judging from what other users have said, I think Dual Sense has bit better plug & play.
