Is this as good as it gets for Nintendo cards?

    • +3

There's the rare 15%/20% off at Coles.

If the patterns continue, the next possible sale would be end of September .

    • +2

It was 20% off a while back

    • +1

Usually. It's extremely rare to get higher. I'll wait for September as per Richards comment because I'm not in a rush for anything in particular, but failing that, just go for 10% because you could literally wait multiple years

Phycial games still cheaper even with this 10% and the gold points.

  • Can this be stacked with the Woolies 10% TCN cards?

I believe you can , but might get questioned by the staff if unlucky

    • +3

No. The idiots canned this in November 2023.

I don't know why JB felt the need to meddle in something that honestly isn't any of their concern

      • Some stores still can but some refuse

        • Does this actually work?
Got jbhifi gift card i wanta change over

          • +1

@Rage Roze: depends on stores and sales. try different ones

    • +1

      i believe you can stack
basically using TCN card you just pay as eftpos "saving"
      and enter the pin

When you are at the counter
just say to the staff you are paying by card
do not mention this is a "giftcard" as TCN card is treated as eftpos card rather than giftcard in JB Hifi regards

      • +1

However, if the staff member sees you are wanting to use a physical TCN or Ultimate gift card, they could stop the transaction (especially since with physical TCN gift cards, you have to physically swipe the card on the EFTPOS terminal, so it is not exactly straightforward to conceal what you are wanting to do). This happened to me once at JB Hi-Fi.

        • +4

its actually easier to use Ultimate giftcard as you can just add to mobile wallet (eg. Apple Pay) and just tap and pay
for TCN usually I just do it quickly before the staff member realise its a "giftcard"

      • Yeah, but I wouldn't recommend someone buy TCN if this is the only thing they want to spend it on

  • +1

I have like $200 credit from discounted gift cards and there's absolutely nothing interesting anymore for me on their eShop lol

    • +1

Same! Meanwhile there's too many PS5 games I want -_-

  • Can you use JB gift cards (barcode) to buy these?
    Perks / birthday voucher?

    • Not based on the JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards Terms & Conditions

      1. Gift Cards and Third Party JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase another JB Hi-Fi branded Gift Card or another third party gift card e.g. Steam Gift Cards, Xbox Gift Cards, Google Play Cards.
