Still sad I missed out on that deal!
That will be forever be the benchmark.
Not everyone was offered SC in-store though, when they ran out of SE. I was lucky to be able to order online and to get SC delivered for $169 and returned 2 months old SE that I bought for $239. Still saved $70.
I had to do a double take when I saw this deal being posted for more than double that price… That was a solid deal and from memory there was a lot of stock for everyone too :)
That deal really highlighted how insane the profit margins are on "premium" headphones - Makes you look at headphones such as the Sonos Ace in a whole different angle…
I think that was the whole point years ago when people were buying the first Beats headphones. They were just glorified cheap headphones, with some weights in them to make them feel heavier and premium, for expensive prices
