  I don't understand why they keep putting in such tiny resolutions. How can a cheaper 10" iPad have more than twice the PPI of all of these laptops?

    It's pretty pathetic. There was a 2048x1536 R series available 4+ years, and IPS displays were available on several models. No excuse for Lenovo on that front

    It can be done. ThinkPad W530 with max specs (bar the $1k+ cpu) and 4 yr on site warranty, with discount = $3k. :)

    I almost bought something with similar specs to replace my desktop PC, but the lack of ExpressCard slot made it a no-go for me.

  Im interested in the E530.
  Would anyone know if the warranty on the laptop is effected if you change the hdd to a SSD.
  So warranty on the motherboard, screen, etc
