As in you had the 15 wicked wings for $10 in your cart from 2nd July, and you tried to check out yesterday and it didn't work? Or did you have the offer from 3rd and tried to check out yesterday (4th)?
I've only tried to check out the following day as per my comment i.e. redeem 2nd July offer on 3rd July.
EDIT: I went back to the previous deal's comment looks like KFC is able to prevent people from checking out expired deals by setting "not available for pick up" so it will depend on when KFC sets that. Whether it is automated or manually done as I have been successful in ordering the next day in the afternoon, but people had the error checking out during dinner.
So what should be done is add the deal to your cart - and next day in the morning or early afternoon check out on the app. This way you are guaranteed the order has gone through, and you can pick up whenever you want on the day.
@CodeXD: I still had the wing deal in my cart, didn't realise I did nor wanted it but yeah gave the "not available for pick up" error. So there is a cut off, though not sure when.

nope Kellyville area … same deal though waited about 40 mins before they ran out and had probably a good 20-25 people waiting and orders were still coming in.. i had a bigger order so just substituted mine and moved on.. their refund process was hilarious they took your name/number on a piece of paper to then refund later! … felt so bad for the staff there, stress levels were next level.
@scud70: Just ask/offer to swap with boneless chicken maybe :P better than refund because people go home empty handed and empty stomach lol.

Had to go with good old Red Rooster last time. Been a decade since I've been there but their fried chicken was straight bangin along with the coleslaw, hot chicken, buttermilk wings.

It's just like when you add something to your shopping cart. It only comes to effect once you paid. Don't think it really matters. But some people can hold the deal to next day by doing so. However, KFC can fix the bug if they want.

Kfc doesnt taste the same anymore. It seems like they skimp on the herbs and spices these days, especially the tenders. It just tastes like plain breaded chicken
Reminder for people who want to order this today. Add it to cart now and check out when the store opens. This way you won't get "item is out of stock" or "back soon!" when wicked wings go out of stock later on. You can check in any time today until the last 30 mins - 1 hour before the store close. If out of stock, KFC will offer alternative options like hot and crispy / original recipe /sides. Ratio will depend on your store. In my experience 3 WW = 2 H&S / 1 OR.
This will not prevent the 30 mins to 1 hour wait if store endeavours to make your order amongst 30 other customers tho, so be prepared for that if you go during peak times.

What's the standard protocol when you can't schedule the pickup later though? I had it ordered earlier today and when I opened the app later it took me back to the home screen. If you click on the order down the bottom it says the item is no longer available. I got it sorted by chatting with the staff in person but I don't know how repeatable that is - the staff looked so over it and just wanted me gone.
Mmmm it says max 1 redemption on the app. Is there a way around this? Was hoping to order 30 wings for family dinner today.
If you have 2 phones, or an app cloner or samsung secure folder, you can use the same accnt, add to cart but don't finish the order, then on the other instance of app, add it again, it will be 2 seperate orders though.

Sure did, thanks for the help. Did that checkout thing in the morning, went to pick it up at 4pm (suggestion from others to go in outside of peak times), prob a combination of my kfc anticipating demand from this deal and me going outside peak hrs but I didn't even have to wait. They had the chicken ready as soon as I went through the drive through. Very smooth experience.
I thought family would be the easiest to get multiple of these deals since each member can have their own account rather than 1 person with 2 phones and 4 mobile numbers ahaha
Haha but my family almost never order takeout, its 99% home cooking so none of them have kfc on their phones.
It's faster to use the samsung secure folder method Hop suggested rather than set everything up on another phone.

I think this cannot be reserved for tomorrow, but a single burger or 6 wicked wings with chips for $5 offer can.
From my multiple tests, I haven't been able to reserve any offer over $8 for later.

Some said the order may not be retrieved.
Last year I did that and following day store had no record of order and couldn't do a refund, even after calling head office I still didn't get the refund.
Just open the App with it in the cart. It is not available for pick up as I predicted.
What an ending KFC and I want to say thanks to KFC staff who worked hard and dealt with some of those rude customers during the busy Xmas/July period.

Selecting pick up option done before I go there ;-) so I don't have to wait long time there. Just go to the counter staff and say order number, menu name and my name. Usually my food is ready on the table or wait a bit. KFC is very close to my home :P

There's some posters who managed to work around it by changing to another location, so maybe you could try that and see if the others still have it in stock.

I’m at the St. Peters KFC and waited in the drive through for 20 minutes. When reaching the collection window, I was told to park and come into the store and that there would be an additional 20 minute wait. It’s been 15 minutes and my order isn’t listed on the board of preparing orders because there’s so many people inside that the monitor can’t fit everybody’s order on.
Cons: Long wait time, Arteries now crying.

My local pulled this from the app around 3pm. Had paid for the order at 12:30pm but couldn't schedule the pickup this evening. Rocked up to the store and they had a stash of 15 wings packs reserved with names on a piece of paper (for those who somehow managed to schedule a pickup?). My name obviously wasn't on the list but the server didn't seem to care - a quick scan, name not there, they handed me a pack anyway and on I went. No idea when the wings were cooked but they were lukewarm at best. Still ate them. Hopefully no regrets in the morning.

The store had 5 people lingering when the other popular deals had 1hr+ queues and 50-100 people hanging around, so it seemed to me they stopped making the orders quite some time ago.

due to waiting time, I made the error of cancelling the order and lost the promo. Have to commit in future or rock up first and place order
KFC was so packed it congested my Internet loading speeds too
I tried to make a new Acc but couldn't get a virtual phone number online numerous times
So went back and signed up a relative and used that account at a quieter store that still showed the promo available
Why error cancelling the order? Just close the KFC app after purchasing. See the order number from email sent by KFC and tell that number and menu name to the counter staff when you have arrived there.

No need to wait so long there. After purchase and when you have arrived there, just go to the counter staff and show your order number from KFC email with the menu name and say your name. I don't wait long, usually the food is ready on the table or wait a bit.
