I've got one of these & it's a very nice watch, love the yellow dial. Makes the similar specced Seiko5KX models seem way overpriced.
The bracelet is nice as well + solid end links. Actually really like not having a screw down crown because it's easy to hand wind while wearing it.

Cracking price. Tempted but saving up for a Tsuyosa

    • What price are you gunning for?

      • no idea, will wait till it pops up on ozb

        • It was on sale last weekend for $319-329 iirc. Would be a banger if it becomes sub 300

Nothing grabbed you in the recent Starbuy eofy sale? They had a bunch of discounted Tsuyosas.

      • Too many things I want, a hamilton khaki is also on the list

    • The dial on the NK5010-51L is unreal-farken. I had the green gold on my safari list, it has been replaced with this.

      Show ‘em @G-rig!!

Yeah I'd wait for a deal on the Tsuyosa small seconds ($450 or under would be good).

They had all the OG models going for $329 which would have been the time to get one. The newer ones are better and they've addressed a few issues. Still wouldn't mind if they were a touch smaller and fair bit of bling. The blue looks really nice:

Oh it's the NJ017X, aka Trump watch.

Can't unsee. Watch is ruined for me now

Is 43mm diameter considered large ? He is slim and don't seem to have a big wrist.

    • On the larger side I would say. I am similar and find 40mm to be the sweet spot.

    • What wrist measurement?

I'm a touch under a 16.5cm wrist (6.5mm), but I can wear 43-44mm watches and it looks fine.

      • Yeah same, 43-44mm is on the limit but depends on the case design, and good if the lugs turn down a bit. The orient Mako 2/3 wear very well for the size and thinner.

$200 is pretty good for these citizens, I'd recommend the BN models for a bit more (eco-drive and thinner cases that wear well for 44mm. Either are good though.

  • I am waiting for citizen zenshin, hopefully they will be here soon

  • @deepak give us the Speedtimer please

If this were an eco drive, I'd have jumped at it. Done with battery changes now after owning solar/eco-drives

      8210 Auto Movement

These do not require battery replacements. They do require wearing the watch often in order to keep it charged (or wind up manually)

      • +1

yea thanks, but that's the problem, I just wear these max few hours a week, cycling between the different pieces. And manual winding gets annoying really fast

Yep get a solar quartz, set and forget 😀.
The more you get into watch collecting the less automatic watches you (I) want.

          • @G-rig: Lol not really, just depends on the person. It takes only a minute to set the time & I don't mind doing it.

            • +1

@WatchNerd: agreed, i actually hate solar, and i love auto with a sweeping second hand. i also cycle through watches and the solar sits in the dark inside my case when not in use. i like that my watches stop when not in use, i think of it like wear and tear of a car, the less you use it the longer it should last. that is also why i stopped using watch winders, to give my watches a break.

            • +3

@WatchNerd: I also like the interaction with my watch to adjust the time every now and then.
Makes me appreciate how good looking it is.
I get laughs for saying this at work, they think i was being sarcastic.

            • @WatchNerd: Same. But stuff having all autos. Nice to have some grab and go watches, especially when rotating a fair few.

Same - waiting for the yellow & light blue Eco Drives to be back in stock at $179.00
