I just get tipped that Lenovo ThinkPad Twist i3 model would be discounted to $892 tomorrow for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. That would be a better value tablet/laptop. Will post that deal later after I get a confirmation that it's really on sale.

    • The X230T is down to $800 base in America right now, and the doorbuster sales haven't started yet. I know shipping agents are a pita, but it's a very capable/ versatile machine.

    students have $1495.10?!

    • They do if they attend Harvard or MIT.

I suppose if you eat enough boxes of Ramen and Mee-goreng, saving on food costs students might be able to afford a $1.4k ultrabook….

  • If you get it just over $2000 using changes to operating system, warranty, software or training, then you can use the 15% discount code instead of 12%.

  • You can also substitute SPP for EPP on the URL and code. e.g.

    http://www.dell.com.au/epp
Enter AUEPP as your EPP code.

And see if your employer is in the list (start typing it)

From what I can see it's the same discount for everyone.
