Sweet, cashback on all 3 of their plans and stacks with both FELIX10 and FELIX50 codes.

It makes the 25GB plan $5 for the first month which is great for international roaming when travelling.

Plus $1 cashback on roaming lol.

Is there a specific timeline to activate the sim?

      • Answering my own question from FAQ:

"Yes! When you purchase a felix SIM, you have one year to activate it.

Your monthly billing cycle won't start until you've activated. For example, if you purchased on the 1st of January and activate your SIM on the 10th of February in the same year, your next payment will be the next month on the 10th of March."

Is there a specific timeline to activate the sim?

Hi. Yes there is - it's 30 days from purchase. Please see our terms here. Thanks.

    • @junk sifter How did you use both FELIX10 and FELIX50? It only allows me to enter one promo code…

      • But even one promo code would make you ineligible for cash back?

        • @FatTofu FELIX50 is now listed on TCB again, which is a better deal than FELIX10 previously for the two smaller plans.

      • +1

You don't. I was referring to the cashback stacking with either code.

@FatTofu The codes were listed on TopCashback at the time of posting. They are no longer listed so no more stacking cashback.

  • Ordered the unlimited as a cheap substitute for NBN. It's $50 for 3mths if staying on for 3mths or $10 for 1mth.

Will have it activated when my current superloop free 2 months ends, soon.

Nice idea but they watch for people doing this and ban them.

      • Do they ban people for using a lot of data? They cap the speed to 20mbs anyway

        • If you look up previous posts you can find peoples experience with it. I've heard anecdotes of bans happening over 200gb/month

@outlander: I used Felix for over 4 years. I initially got blocked for using a MBB router and after they unblocked me, I used a phone to hotspot.

Was going through 600GB to 850GB per month

@easternculture: I used Felix on and off for a total of 20+ months, always in a USB 4G dongle connecting with the main router. I was going through 300 to 400 GB per month with no issue.

            • @easternculture: I was hoping to get a 5G wifi router with sim card slot to use with Felix. So they will ban me for doing that? How do they find out?

              • @arctan: They can tell from imei number. They usually audit every few month and if they send warning email with T&C, if you continue to use the device, they ban you

        • I think the ban is if you put the SIM in a Wi-Fi modem. But even if you have it in a phone with a hotspot, the conditions say it's not for home broadband and is not for sharing with other people.

@inherentchoice: Looks like its safe to use a 5G phone to do hotspot instead of a 5G wifi router.

  • Is there a limit on purchase?

    • No limit, but you will only receive cashback once per order. So if you need more than one, be sure to click through again for the next transaction. Terms here. Thanks.

    • They only allow one sim per ID. I've tried before and they cancelled my purchase
