Just noticed two transfers of $0.01 into my CBA account by CBA. Did anyone receive the same from CBA? What was it for?

What was the description of the deposit, that's a good indicator on who's it from or maybe what it's for.

For example, paypal deposits 2 x $0.XX to confirm it is your bank account.

Sounds like someone is trying out your card for pre-authorisation, I would be watching the Tasman over the next few days, or locking the card until you need to use

I often get those as backdated interest corrections in my mortgage account. Don't know why they need to keep correcting.
