Got one of these a few years back for my dog, she was very disinterested in it… She prefers to play with everything but the Kong…

My dogs were the same, we found using peanut butter mixed with dog biscuits inside and peanut butter around the opening of the Kong got them interested. And now, we can put just about anything in there are they'll go for it.

We have the large Kong which keeps the dog entertained for 15 minutes and then he goes back to destroying everything in sight, as the Kong is indistructable!

      • yep +1 for the peanut paste inside them to keep your dog entertained

if your a true ozbargainer get an old 2L plastic bottle and drill/cut s few holes just bigger than there dry food in it and fill it with food. keeps them entertained for hours at the cost of an empty bottle and they get the fun of food AND destroying something your ok with them destroying (i guess if you have small dogs you could use a smaller bottle, i have big dogs so 2L bottles work best)

      • the instructions recommend using peanut butter, but peanut products are banned at our place…

I disagree, it's a very good game, but i think Donkey Kong is the best game ever.

  • my only critic is make sure youi clean it regularly.

one time it rolled under the tv stand, didn't find it for a week, the peanut butter mixed with dog drool just turned it nastyyyy

  • ex's dog use to always get the thing onto the roof … i'm still not sure how …

  • Or you can walk into BigW and get it for just 35cents more - hardly a bargain

    • For clarity - Kong small is $11.54 + $10 shipping (or buy from store). Kong medium is not available online but $15.98 in store. Kong large is not sold by Big W.
