Would this be robust enough to protect a gaming PC?
Yep can handle 2400W which is standard PowerPoint limit.

I have a couple of these, my one complaint is that the massive switch is just the right size for my cat to step on and turn everything connected off. Other than that they've been very reliable.

The giant switch also fills up with dirt and gunk.
My cat actually did this a couple of days ago. Fortunately, I'd already shut my PC down, but my lights went out and it took me a moment to realise what had happened.
