Would this be robust enough to protect a gaming PC?
Yep can handle 2400W which is standard PowerPoint limit.
They also advertise that it has a $30,000 warranty for equipment connected if something goes wrong caused by the board
Yes , bought to protect all the major outlets . The size a little annoying to deal with but no deal breaker.
Can vouch, this is extra thicc.
specs show 900 joules protection
not great, but not crap either. I'd say it's better than average.
Boards like these do 3,150 joules protection

Genuine question - do I need more than 900 joules? I am protecting a gaming PC in my home.
I have a couple of these, my one complaint is that the massive switch is just the right size for my cat to step on and turn everything connected off. Other than that they've been very reliable.
Cats just know what will be most annoying thing to do, don’t they?
Sounds like you're negging your cat.
The giant switch also fills up with dirt and gunk.
My cat actually did this a couple of days ago. Fortunately, I'd already shut my PC down, but my lights went out and it took me a moment to realise what had happened.
Can anybody suggest a good board for Hi-Fi system? Noise removal emf/rfi
I have one of these. It’s unfortunately 30 cm short for my use case. I’m not sure if Belkin sell a long lead power board anymore!
Dammit! I prefer individually switched boards…
Gaaah just got one of these from Bunnings on sale for $55 on the weekend.
I’ve been using SurgeX series mode surge suppressor/protector technology for more than a decade, they’re higher quality products and far more reliable than MOV surge protectors like this one.
I'm still using one of these: https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/tv-and-audio/av-accessories/p…
2754 Joules. Overkill for a home? Absolutely.
Holy mother. I forgot that I bought this 4 years ago. Still going strong and is used for my gaming rig and lounge devices.
I must have also found it from OzB as it was $20 each. =) ahh Ozbargain you've given me so much in life
Thanks OP
I'm using it and pretty good for homepods since they are vulnerable to surge.
Has anyone successfully price beat this at Officeworks? Mwave is showing $14.95 shipping for me, don’t OW usually take shipping into account for the price beat guarantee?
Still available for price beat @ OW as per price in title.
$39 if you have tgg commercial account.
