for sure, and its annoying. i bought mine last year. now i have to bring that extra travel adaptor everywhere i go in Australia.

It’s a universal charger. Just twist the pins on the charger 45 degrees.

        • Just make sure they don't snap off in the outlet…
          Been there done that 😬

You can buy a USB plug instead.

I bought this for my multi groom series 7000. You just need to make sure the port on the shaver is the right shape. If it isn't, just scroll down to the section with other options e.g. "Products related to this item" or "Customers who viewed this item also viewed".

USB makes it much more convenient to charge internationally, and it is also a much smaller plug that can fit inside the Phillips travel pouch/case that came with the shaver.

I also have the similar USB charging cable, much convenient than lying around the full size charger.
Shaver do have good battery capacity so it's ok to take it for a weekend without the charger.

I’d go this one too, has way more attachments. Can do ya schnoz, jatz crackers and everything

This is a beard trimmer, not really the same thing. A multigroom is useless if you do short/stubble.

      • Can definitely do short stubble with it

    • Cant increment that by .5mm.

    • Cheers for the find. Brought one, now to get that charging cable.

I have this shaver for my beard.
I paid close to double this a while back.
I am happy with it and has a lot of length options
Perfect for small to medium beards.

Devastated that I left my vacuum version behind in a hotel room right when they discontinued them.

    • I have this and the first and second Gen kf the vaccine ones.

I loved the first Gen vacuum one, second Gen was whatever. This is a very very good shaver if you have short stumble

If you have your power cord from the vacuum one it will work in this

Omg i feel you brother… The vacuum one was ace.
Just can't find any others like it.

      • I have the vacuum clippers but find hard to predict cutting point when increasing the length.

      • I really rate this one. I loved my first gen Philips vacuum one and this is the only trimmer I’ve used that actually beats it when it comes to getting precise lengths when you have short stubble. The lack of vaccum is fine (I do it in the shower so it’s less messy).

I ended up getting a second one of these - this is a great price for the 9000 series (generally for AU stock sub $200’is a good price).

        • Does anyone know why the vacuum ones were discontinued? I recently broke mine and was devastated that they no longer make them!!

  • Very good price ! I have it and find it easy , efficient and convenient for a shortish beard .

  • Best trimmer, way better than the One-Blade. I bought this a month ago for $154 total, and I thought that was a good price!

  • How does it compare to something like this from Wahl, any opinions?

  • If you are going to grow a long beard, would this be too short at 25/64, less than 10mm, or what would have combs long enough for that or do you free wield it?

    • I think once you have a long beard you need to physically trim with scissors.
