Cuteliving store and factory direct seems like they pulled off a lot of products?????

no more retro handhelds from them

    • Really. Wanted to buy a Redmi Watch Active 3. Missed last time.

    • +1

If you click the original deal URLs you'll find they're all being moved to different Choice stores. A sneaky suspicion is these brands may have had issue with AliExpress selling them cheaper as part of their loss leading strategy. Or AliExpress are looking to reduce their loss leading and have taken popular brands out of their stores.

Wait this isn't a clear post.

  • Is the iplay 50 pro max the best tablet around $200
It was on sale the other day for $185 and I didn't get it
    Hope it will drop again
Or is there a better alternative

    • yeah i mean it is, the G99 is alright, i got the iplay 40 pro, with the t616, again buy a magentic charging cable the usbc ports go first!

      • OK thank you for your reply
I hope it drops in price again

I've stopped paying any attention to aliexpress coupons.
Some magic tends to apply, bringing up red text "does not apply to items in your cart"
They've got less credibility than a repco or harris scarfe sale.

    • +5

I’ve been told the trick is to type it manually into the coupon code field and not to copy & paste. For some reason the latter always results in the behaviour you describe. Alternatively, use the phone app and collect the coupons before shopping, then they automatically apply when you check out.

    • Awww yeh. Here he is boys!! The harbinger of savings!!!

    • What's the point of having multiple codes for the same discount?

      • +3

        Coupons are single use.

        • I get this when trying the CDA codes 'Sorry, this coupon code is not currently applicable in your country or region', should I remove them from the description until further notice?

          • @Hiphopopotamus: Yep they're for a different region it seems. Best to remove.

    • Will any of these apply to your most recent Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro tablet deal posted over a week ago?

      • +1

        Can't see why not.

        • Oh nvm it's out of stock and the base price is much higher anyway compared to your original deal.

  • Any good oled tablets?

  • +1

Not as good as last time.

    • +1

oh no, we might have two wait a fortnight for a better deal

  • The last sale had epic savings along with extra discount codes.. not sure if this deal will be as good. But time will tell (19 hrs or so).

  • 7800x3d good time to buy from aliexpress

  • Sorry for the noob question, but is it possible to convert the coins into coupons for more discount? Currently when purchasing from certain stores they have few percent discount with the coins.

    • +4

No. But after clicking on an item to view it, if you go to the coins page, you’ll usually find the same item with a bigger pay by coins discount.

    • +1

Further to what Unclerico said, do this but in the app as usually it gives a slightly higher discount

      • 85% off so much stuff during sales haha. Found 7hz Zero 2 IEM for 16 bucks after coins last time.

    • There’s a product search field in the Coins section of the app (not on browser). Use this to search for your desired product, then check each matching one to see which gives the best deal. Sometimes there’s a button to filter them to >20% coin discount. Note, the coin discounts can be inaccurate, you need to do a test purchase to see what it’ll actually cost.

      • I viewed the product sold by the exact seller in the coins section. When I click buy now button, the coin discount is alot higher than adding to the basket and check out. Weird.

        Buy Now
        Add to cart

        • Maybe not enough coins?

        • +1

You wont get the extra coins discount unless you Buy It Now, which also means you can’t buy multiple different items together (eg to use a higher value coupon or free shipping) and still get boosted coin discount. If you Add To Cart you’ll only get the regular coin discount, typically 2%. For low value items, sometimes you can get a good deal by upping the item count to qualify for free shipping, assuming you can use multiple of them.

From my sellers (wholesalers) there has been huge government grant to alibaba/aliexpress and others to help decrease prices and increase sales. So take advantage of it whilst its available certainly had huge drops on alibaba a recent bga rework station I purchased was $1000 usd cheaper than was in may.

    • Thanks for that info. Makes huge sense now with the constant and very generous sales they've had this year.

    • +4

Not to mention their delivery from China to Sydney are as quick as 5 days of late

    • recent bga rework station

      care to share

      • +1

For Sure WDS-750 BGA rework station $14000 au in May paid $ 11800 au June.

  • Haha just pulled the trigger last night on the Xiaoxin tablet to get it delivered before my trip in 13 days! I couldn't wait until today for shipping time.

It looks like a great deal that tablet with this coupon, oh well.

    • Which tablet? Looking for one as well

  • Anyone else having bad experiences with Fast Horse Express, the delivery service that Aliexpress is using? Last 2 parcels I had the courier never even showed up, called 1 ring and hung up, called back and straight to voice mail, and then marked as failed delivery. You get the automated email about failed delivery and they will only attempt 2 times and return to sender. Then never reply your queries, except with the same automatic reply. Managed to get a refund for first parcel items after repeated submissions of the emails and tracking. The last parcel was just "attempted" for the 2nd time today. So now I'll have to lodge refunds for 6 items. It's put me off ordering anything else for the time being.

    • Only ever had 1 issue where it couldn't be delivered but it was delivered shortly after on the 2nd attempt, all other times they always leave my parcels on my doorstep without issue.

    • +1

Anything that is on choice banner has been amazing and incredibly fast.. delivered in far less than the time displayed on the product page. They left it in mail box or on doorstep.
On the contrary of it's not choice.. it's pretty slow.. my steel dive has still yet to arrive but auspost has showed tracking that it's scheduled to arrive monday

    • Yeh nowadays it's either fast horse or imile.

      I find imile better.

    • +2

No drama here with lots fasthorse deliveries always get an email with photo showing where item was left. I'm in WA

      • +1

Yeah it's pretty funny to see your mailbox and some dudes hand being sent to you

        • +2

Even funnier when its aus post sending you a pic of your neighbours front door and your parcel as proof its delivered to you, house number visible in the picture and all

Any deals on 2TB M2 for Steam Deck?

  • Any good tablets going?

  • Any good deals for Redmi Watch 3 Active?

  • +1

Not as good as the last deal

  • +1

Having issues with the codes. $199 in cart. $13 shipping and $21 tax (total $235). None of the codes work.

    • +1

What's your USD price? Just to ensure you're actually meeting the minimum spend. What does it say when you type in the coupon and try to apply?

      • Aud. Also tried the SALECD12 but said someone else used that code.

        • AliExpress' AUD rate is inflated above the actual USD to AUD exchange rate. That's why I'm asking for the USD price, so we can convert it and see if your US$ price excluding GST/shipping is correct.

          • +1

@Clear: Changed to us and now automatic was $8 off.

            • +1

@Mikael: Had the same issue as you and this worked for me, thanks!

    • Bah, changed to us dollars and Revolut just took out $201 AUD. Guess from now on use us inst as of aud.

Cashrewards to Aliexpress is not working.

  • If you're a night owl and use the app I recommend doing the shake to win competition, you get a shake for every goal scored in the UEFA EURO 2024 (a soccer competition AliExpress are sponsoring). The matches are always late at night.

I have gotten a bunch of US$1 off $1.01 spend, US$2 off $19 spend and one US$5 of $29 spend coupon.

  • -1

I feel bad re ordering the same item and just sending back what’s already in transit

But the cost difference on particular product is like 25% or $25

    Identical product

Sometimes AliExpress don’t require goods to be returned too….it feels wrong and I rather they just take it back and return it to the merchant if I was given a choice

    • The cost to ship it back most likely more than what you paid for it.
If you shop on ebay the standard local shipping is $10.60 now with AusPost, who knows what it would cost to ship it back to China.
So it does not make financial sense to do it, it would be cheaper to write it off.

  • The number in the coupon code is surprisingly the aud discount you get lol

  • +3

For some reason, the codes require much more than the listed min spends to work on my end. For example, SALECD12 requires roughly US$113.
    Before
    After
Same goes for all the other codes

  • Are these coupon codes limited? Will they run out if they get claimed many times?

  • Looks like SALECD5 and SALECD12 are exhausted

    • Yeah, tried to use CD5 just before and got error messages :(

  • Yeah, can't use them.

  • I tried SALECD12 and SALECD30 and both were out, SALECD5 worked for me but I think that's because I 'collected' it earlier.

Given that it expires in 30 minutes anyway I'll just leave it be.

    • When I tried in usd it worked for me the other day. Also the conversion worked in my favour. Was around $25 cheaper on $230 purchase. Revolut.

  • I've got quite a few of the $1 coupons for delayed orders, what's the best way to make the most of them?

    • Use the app and search on the coins page for big discounts. Just keep in mind that choice items have US$10 minimum for free delivery and US$2/$19 coupons are pretty common (better value).
