  • Whats it cost instore?

    • Same

      • Generally you pay more online as it includes delivery.

        • Agree, but I went instore earlier this week to check this, and it was the same price. The V10 was ~$10 cheaper instore.

        • Apple products are also the same in store and online

A good deal I think. Is $399 currently on the Dyson website.
Shopback has 6% cashback currently, so still cheaper at Costco.
How does the V8 compare against the newer models and competitors?

    • V8 came out in 2016. It's 8 years old. Is $369 worth it?

      • If you only got $369 to spend, then yeah

I have a matrix I’ve posted in the forum that you can refer to. There are much better vacuums for similar price these days, would recommend the Miele triflex over this unless you need light weight

No battery balancing in these… Well it's in there..Dyson chose not to connect it (so perfectly fine batteries stop working prematurely). Sir Scum. Avoid.

    • Thanks for the heads up!

I had the OEM battery clap out after a couple of years, aftermarket battery for $75 on eBay has been going well 4 years on. I wonder if the eBay battery is implementing a balance board in the pack..

      • Ali Express have one that does. The tech is actually inside the Dyson battery. Just not connected.

Your clapped out battery will 99% likely be fine.. just out of balance. Could use the cells elsewhere.
