[WA] Red Capsicums $1.99/kg @ IGA Ellenbrook

240

IGA Ellenbrook (WA) have had this deal available for a couple of weeks now, and it may extend to the other stores at Stratton, Corfield and Maddington stores. Coles in Ellenbrook are charging $14.90kg and Woolies $14.99kg. Just thought it would be interesting to show that is folk are experiencing cheaper fruit and veg courtesy of IGA Ellenbrook for some time now..Not affiliated with IGA, just an everyday Aussie who thinks the Senate enquiries.should have been looking at these 4 stores and holding Colesworth to.account.

    Knock knock…

    Who's there?

    Shed

    Shed who?

    Spudshed

We need good and affordable groceries and most people don't know we have may options in all major cities. Just lazy enough to drive at times, which is understandable.

There is MCQ, Spudshed, NP grower etc in WA.

Heck Melbourne CBD has the best and cheapest QV market.

Never understood why people will go to Coles or Woolies except for expired food on specials. There is always a way out to beat monopolies, but I guess pride and ignorance can get in the way.

Those in regionals towns have no choice and suffering due to the monopolies we created in big cities. Just visit one and you'll know.

    No offence to OP

    • It depends on the type of IGA.
I found a Supa IGA (Waterford) and they do cuts of meat for crazy cheap for eg whole rump 10.99/kg.
There's t bone steak for 11.99 this week

I've been buying most of my meats there then McQ/NP for veg.

Let's be kind to Vegans here.

Although, Spudshed does sell meat for much less than that. But, when it comes to meat, sanity should be a priority than price, one needs to be really considering quality first and foremost. I'd give Coles a thumbs up on that, but only when they are on ahmm "suckmoneyulls'. Spudshed meat is disgusting tbh.

IGA imo is good, but lets be honest, they are no better than Coles or Woolies. Take a peek at Russell Island (QLD) IGA(I've been there and seen the kids with overgrown hair, no choice…the worst of QLD on display there…. prices well sky high to match the audience, no choice I guess).

Love IGA, they dare to venture where no one else can. It's a tough gig.

Example: Werribee IGA, they Cook ready to eat meats and veggies, absolutely delicious. Pro tip: they discount it after 8-9pm.
