Hey guys, nothing super new but a decent deal on the Playstation Vita console from Amazon Italy. Can get the Black Wifi console plus a choice of Little Big Planet or Allstars: Battle Royale for 173 Euro ($213 landed)

No mem card with this deal, but I feel that's better for most users since the little 4 gig one barely holds 2-3 downloaded games

Remember, Chrome has an autotranslate that works well, and you can learn the button layout from English speaking amazon sites

thanks, tempting, but i just spent my momo on a wii u

  • Awesome price. Already have one but at that price considering one for my son.

You gonna get him some Spartan Grips too? :P

      • +2

        He can get his own.

  • Do you guys know if the game is in english?

    • I can't promise that it is. Of the 3 (German) vita games I have they all support English, but Amazon IT is unclear (there are 2 listings for each game, one being multi language and the other Italian only)

    • If you click on the games in the screen where you check the boxes they say Italian for both language and manual on both games… so maybe not :(

  • Weird it comes up as 225.71 euro for me when I add the Vita and a game (I've tried both).
Hope it's just me messing up somewhere because that price is pretty decent.

    • Did you use the little "Promotion" box to select it? Remember VAT is removed at the last stage of checkout too (right before you confirm payment)

      • Ah yes I didn't go to the confirmation page, I got scared at the credit card confirmation on the payment page…

  • Great deal just ordered one. Was looking for a great deal on vita. Thanks

Bought. Great price (AU$212.71 inc game, currently). Now, to grab Dream Club Zero from Hong Kong…

EDIT: Can the Vita be used without the memory card, or do games assume it's available? This deal is still very good but the cost of a memory card ($25 for 4Gb, $45 for 8Gb - JB Hifi) needs to be factored in. BigW offers a Vita with Little Big Planet for $298 with a 4Gb card.

    • Some games will need it to save progress.
I felt many would find the 4gb card frustrating, especially with all the 'free' games from PS Plus this week. 16gb can be found for ~$60 online

      • +3

Well amazon.it is selling 16 gb card for AU ~$48 and if you include it with the ps vita console they won't charge extra for shipping.

  • For those who wants local version, JB hifi is selling PS Vita Assassin Creed bundle + 4GB + Virtua Tennis + starter pack for $299

    • +2

When will they start including at least 8GB, 4GB is useless.

  • what about the power source? can we buy a separate Australian power plug for Vita?

  • So the PSVita is region free? Can I link it to a US PSN account?

    • yes I have mine linked to a U.S account for the much cheaper games.

  • One old game, one new game, choice is obvious. Should be LBP Karting instead.

    • +2

The 'old' game has only been out for 3 weeks or so.

    • +1

LBP karting is not on vita and LBP for vita is its own brand new game. Only came out a few weeks ago.

  • Was going to buy then I realised after I buy a simple 4GB memory card and the game I REALLY want it goes over $300

  • Still wait for my Vita to arrive. DHL's basic tracking info states the package was sent 26 November and left Germany on the 28th. No tracking info available from Australia Post.

    • Arrived this morning. 2 and a bit weeks. Not tooo bad.

  • The LittleBigPlanet game packaging is all in Italian but the game itself defaults to English.
