I already have S2721DGF for gaming and a 1080 samsung which looks super grainy for work which I want to upgrade
So something to pair with the S2721DGF would be ideal.

Apart from the colour of the stand, they will be very similar.
Was in the same boat. Just purchased 2x S2725DS to replace two old (12 years+) Samsung 1080 monitors either side of my main 34UW. Cannot fault them at that price point.
If it's just a second monitor, something like a Dell 27" could be worthwhile if you want them to loosely match:

I'm using a Viewsonic 27" gaming monitor and a S2721D and the bezels look fairly similar.
