Ends 30/06/2024 11:59pm AEST. Valid for members who receive this email directly from Cashrewards. Activate bonus prior to shopping using the Cashrewards account corresponding to the email that received the invitation. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • This promotion is open to members that receive an invitation email directly from Cashrewards and successfully activate the bonus offer using the Cashrewards account that corresponds to the email address that received the invitation (“Eligible Entrants”).

  • To qualify for the $5 bonus, Eligible Entrants must first activate the offer, then shop online using a Cashrewards platform between 27 June 2024 12am AEST and 30 June 2024 11:59pm AEST (“Promotional Period”) with a minimum spend of $20 (incl. GST) on a single transaction (“Qualifying Purchase”).

  • A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the merchant special terms, or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase. Bonus will be approved in the Eligible Entrant’s Cashrewards account within 7 days of any associated Qualifying Purchase being approved.

  • Cashrewards Terms of Use apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase.

  • Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account and is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.

  • Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

      Reading the T&C's, it doesn't exclude the gift cards as it doesn't track at 0%.

      If you received the email, the bonus expires on 30th, so you can try it first and see if it tracks.

        Got it. I (family members) have 5 accounts, 2 accounts got $5 cashback of $20 minimum spend, didn’t mention about giftcards. Got email (T n Cs are same as above) on Thursday morning.

        3 accounts got $5 cashback of minimum $20 spend, giftcards excluded. Got email on Wednesday and this morning as well. The way of T n Cs written are totally different formats. So follow the Thursday’s email. Not Wednesday/this morning one.

        Updates? CR usually confirms GC cashback in a few hours, if it was eligible the bonus should be confirmed by now too.

        My email doesn't have 'excludes gift cards'. It shows only 'excludes items ineligible for cashback or having a 0% cashback rate at time of purchase.'. So I think $10 spend and $20 spend have different conditions.

      No, shopback is much better. It has better deals most of the time, especially if you are with their associated banks. But there is no reason why you can't have both.

        I suggest having both, but with Shopback, if you want it to get approved, you have to revisit the shop for in-shop purchases. Am I correct?

          Might as well sign up for TopCashback too, their normal rates are higher and they run bonuses pretty often now. Maybe wait for an upsized referral bonus if you can.

    Yup. Like others I bought the $20 amazon gift card and got the $5 bonus approved at same time as 40c cash back (2% cash back) approval.
    Its the best gift card purchase offer in a while since the days of regular $3 bonus cashback of $30 gift card from cashrewards.

    Even better than the recent $5 bonus offer from purchase of $50 giftcard. (very rare to get these days)

      No idea but it won't have been the bonus as its not tracked in the same transaction. However, tracking a purchase does not necessarily mean thats the final amount that will be paid to you.

      I'm the same boat. Purchased a DoorDash gift card last night. Can see the gift card's cashback was approved but the bonus $5 is still pending.
