    In typical Ozbargain… fashion,
I bought one three days ago, before the coupon was released..

I bought this card almost 2 months ago, yes it may cost me more but it actually gave me the chance to find out that my Asus b550i has known compatibility issue and managed to get rid of it and have my money returned.

Could you elaborate? You returned the board or the card?

          This one, https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/b550-i-cra…
There are known issues with RTX 4000 series running on the Asus B550-i strix series board. The solution was to either suck it up by turning the driver under performance mode to make it usable but will suck up more power unnecessarily or return for RMA. But Asus Au decided to refund my money instead, via my retailer where I bought it from.

          • @cloudie9: Wow, I've got a Asus B550-I STRIX mobo and I was so close to pulling the trigger on a RTX 4070 Ti Super. Thanks for sharing this link I had no idea about this issue! I would've gone through hell trying to debug this if I upgraded from my stable RTX 2070 Super.

Looks like I'm going to have to do full AM5 system upgrade ahead of schedule :)

@AutomaticLee: Yeah, no worries mate. I had to trouble shoot by even getting my GPU replaced after getting it less than a day and it still came with the same issues, until I google around and found this thread. That is when I had about 2 months ordeal with my retailer to get it sorted, in the end, ACL push did help to get this across the line. I have since moved onto AM5 platform, currently on Asus B650E-I Strix.

Luckily, the GPU was also sourced from my local dealership, so its an easy one to one swap.

Not these days, amazon's commission rates are insane.

I hate how centrecom don't allow bank transfer for pickup, forcing you to pay via card.

Need 4070Ti Super for near $1050 now considering we had a 4080 Super for $1400 last week or so 🥺 .

  • I haven't touch any cash more than $20 for a loooonnnnggg time.

Nice, but only 2 fans booooo

    • Yeah, I'm not about dissipating the heat from a 285W card with just two fans and a two slot heatsink. I might wait for the PNY Verto to go on sale again instead.

  • Thanks mate bought one
