Lacie use WD drives - at least when I took my last Lacie portable apart it was WD anyway

Seagate deal on JB was very good but is now gone. Best on JB now is $89 for a 500Gb Seagate, $139 for a WD 1Tb 2.5, or $118 for a Buffalo 1Tb 2.5.

My portable hard drive died after 4 weeks. I've been happier with WD hard drives.
