Would be nice to have this with 32gb ram and a 4060 instead. Would almost be perfect honestly.
Well it exists but costs 3k…. https://www.computeralliance.com.au/asus-vivobook-pro-k6604j…

There is also an AMD version with the R7 8845HS going for similar price at scorptec depending on what you are doing with it.

I think that's the vivobook s 16, it doesn't have dedicated graphics but its thinner and lighter

    • Bought this last week Asus vivobook s 16 M5606, absolutely stunning laptop. Performance is great, use it roughly 8 - 10 hours per day and still remain with about 10-20% battery left. Only downside for me is non touch screen which would have been very convenient for me at work but oh well got it for a great price.

    • 8845hs battery life is better

  • Bugger, got the MSI Prestige 14 3days ago from JB for the same price.

  • Nice display, but on the other hand beware of potential OLED PWM, and it would be expensive to replace.

I bought this a day ago, only two things i dislike:
    1. The keyboard isn't backlit
    2. No automated brightness but i will have to check that

Other than that, the screen is amazing, so is the performance.

    • oh no, my old eyes cant read without backlit keys

    • Unusual the model up I listed in 1st response has backlit keys. So the 4060 variant is better in most ways. It's just a shame that it's at 3k

  • An I9 with a 3050 seems a bit unusual . TPD maybe .

  • Can this thing handle Starfield or Cyberpunk and not burning hot?
