Pixel 8 128gb is currently $798 at Harvey Norman.

I ordered the Pixel 8 from Google Store today and requested price match.

With the $500 store bonus store credit and $109 store credit from the Google One bonus that's a good price for me as I need plenty of accessories.

BTW I initially took the free trial of Google One and found that the 10% doesn't start until the end of the free trial. I cancelled that free offer and signed up for the $3.12 a month plan using one of my other Gmail addresses and got the 10% straight away. I ordered the Pixel 8 through that google account/email.

    Which plan is $3.12 per month? The cheapest eligible plan for 10% cashback I can see is 2TB premium

    I signed up for the 2TB premium Plan on 6 June. $3.12 for first month then $12.49 a month afterwards. I intend to cancel at the end of the first month.

        The 3.12 offer is hard to find but I just managed to do it a few minutes ago. I created and logged into a new google account, and managed to bypass the 2 months free offer. It was a lot of buggering around but it can be done.

      Yeah I just placed an order too. I reckon the 10% will wb readjusted to reflect the true cost. So you will have to pay 1199 first and then they refund you the difference

        $500 store credit terms state it can't stack with other promotions or coupons.
        Price match will probably be ok
        But 10% storage discount…?
        If it all applied at checkout, great, but you're saying buy and wait for google to adjust when shipping?
        Anyone confirm stacking work? Unidays 15%?

          You can't stack unidays that's based on RRP, not an adjusted price matched item as you pay full first and get the gap back

    I put in a request for price match through google store chat before I ordered. The chat person/bot sent me an email confirming the in principle price match. Then I ordered the phone through Google Store for $1199 and replied to that email with google order details. I also changed my request from JB Hifi ($837) to the HN $798. I will get $619.90 store credit 24 hrs after the phone ships. The price match will be by refund, I believe.

    Conditions include same colour, storage size and must be in stock at the time of submitting google order details for the price match.

      ive been waiting on a deal after missing out on the last one. Never done a price match through google but just about to submit a request for one (via the support page). Did you end up paying the $7xx or do you have to pay the $1199 and get the difference refunded to you?

    $500 from the main deal and 119.90 from the Google One 10%. I don't know whether the 10% will be adjusted down to $79.80 once they process the price match.

    Pixel 8 128GB from Google Store is essentially:
    Worst case: $797 (Officeworks Price Match) + $12.49 (Google One 2TB sub) - $435 ($579.70 google store credit converted to cash at 75% assuming ebay resale) = $374.49
    Could be even better if you can get the Google One for $3.12 per @Cerdig's comment above and Google don't adjust down the Google One credit following price match.

        Are you looking at Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro? $500 credit is only for Pixel 8 and not Pixel 8 Pro

    You will miss out on the 10% because the 10% credit perk doesn't start working until you actually pay them.

    This still works for me. Create new google account. Be logged in on that account. Type "google one subscription" in search bar. Click on plans and pricing. It's likely that store credits would be specific to the account which earned them.

    • So after the refund, I will end up paying $798 and I will get $500 store credit on the top of that?
    • Can I use the store credit to buy another phone?
    • Can I buy using one Google account (which I am sure the credit will be applied to) and then use the phone with another Google account?

    Still get the carrier warning about 3G shutdown on Pixel 8 every time make a call. Can I disable this?
