Last week deal was $15. I don’t know why you need to order a date before. I am close to the KK shop.

    • +1

That was original glazed. Who said you need to order a day before?

      • +1

Some stores did not allow C&C on the offer day as they were at capacity and can select future date, hence I think OP says he had to order a day before

        • Ah, ok. Thanks :)

        • Yes that's what i meant thanks jimmy

  • +3

These are really fattening arse, thanks.

  • +1

I find the 7-Eleven ones often stale.

    • +3

Why do you go looking for the stale ones?

I choose to find the good ones

      • I can never find any good ones at 7-Eleven… Only at the Krispy Kreme store.

  • +5

    "stay safe"?

    • Yes, since that donut scare a few months back.

      • +3

The story has a few holes in it though

        • +4

I donut believe the story at all.

    • +2

I’d rather see a ‘stay safe’ in an email than a ‘hope you’re well’ in an email - like mate no, I’m not well, but for the purpose of this conversation, yes I’m ok.

      • I guess too many doughnuts are kind of risky.

    • Stay safe, and enjoy

Yeah lol, sounds like quite the unfortunate oxymoron?

You don't hear too many people hanging onto the stay safe salutation much now in a post lockdown pandemic world, it can really strike some PTSD for some 🤷🏼‍♂️

For anyone interested (probably not if you're buying hehe), the original glazed KK is 18g fat per 100g, and 23.6g sugar per 100g, for 1560kJ energy (about a small meal's worth), will be higher for the other varieties with toppings and fillings. Health recommendation would likely be avoid entirely, but if it's eaten maybe keep to one and don't repeat the discretionary consumption for at least a week, get your medicine of 300mins cardio and x2 weights per week. Now that's staying safe 😉

Idk how many donuts it takes to be happy, but from my experience, it’s not 12 in 1 sitting.

    • +3

Invite 11 new friends to share 🍩

      • +1

        Impromptu ozbargainer meetup

      • +1

Did you consider that the lack of happiness may be related to a lack of friends

        • Yes. But sometimes we need an excuse to meet others - who may become friends!

Based on years of research - Friends Help You Live a Happier, Healthier, and Longer Life

As long as they are real friends, not just online acquaintances - with whom we have little close meaningful contact.
Requires more than discussing bargains & eating doughnuts together!

Even meeting people… your body releases endorphins during positive social contact, … which gives a boost of happiness

Of course some people are happiest when by themselves. Eating all the doughnuts🍩

I’m a 30 something old male, my only 2 irl friends left live in two different states and don’t know each other. Everyone always talks about all the miracles Jesus performed… but no one talks about the craziest most unbelievable which was having 12 close friends in his 30s

          • +2

@Jimothy Wongingtons: Bro, I am in the same boat. 30 something old male. I have co-workers. Acquaintances. But true friends? Like, 2 or 3 maybe? And even then, we mostly just talk online and play games together. My brother used to be my rock, but he moved away and now I hardly see him. Sorry for taking this real dark really quickly.

            • +3

@ASR-Briggs: Theres meetup groups that go for hikes, play boardgames in the CBD, go for night markets/food etc.

You can expect to meet other people looking for an outting/meet new people unlike other social situations where everyone just sticks to people they know.

Worst case you had an outting and tried something new, best case scenario you might make some good friends :)

            • @ASR-Briggs:

              co-workers. Acquaintances.

              Haha this exactly

I have well wishers… in the way they don’t wish me any specific harm… I think

  • Blessed are the donuts, for they are holey. ✝️

  • Krispy Kreme's best donut, by far, is their original glazed

  • -1

Yey, more bread and games for peasants… 🥳

Set your alarms, first in, first served, push, push for everything, shamelessly push because if you don't you'll get none…. Push… For everything…Push materialists… Push, limited stock, intentionally limited, push!!!

  • How much is this pack normally, and do you reckon it's one box per customer?

  • +1

    Its normally $36

  • +1

Thanks, I was the office hero bringing these in during EOFY crazy week

  • +2

  • +1

LOL "I only have 2 packs in my store and they are gone".

    Typical wind-up

  • +1

  • I got one… But there were also other 12 packs there that didn't have the pink box but just the regular white box. They also had various donuts. Are they also celebrations pack?
