  • This or $50 more for Bambu A1 Mini

    • Well I’m super happy with my mini and a1 setup and it’s my 1st recommendation.

I see this space is becoming kind of an Apple vs generic Android space. While you could prob add it, the camera monitoring and app support for wireless and remote printing is worth.

    • +1

For a beginner with this kind of budget, I would spend the extra and go for the Bambu with the current sale pricing. Or go straight to the A1 to not be limited by bed size.

If you have a strict budget, this is still a great option.

  • I have this printer and am super happy with it.
Apparently there have been some instances where the parts are not screwed tightly enough and need tightening but I have not experienced this at all.

From my personal experience, I would 100% recommend it - and it's a great price.

    • yep, I only have the SE because the price was too good to resist under $200.

The price brackets seem to now be

      < $200 - V3 SE
      $300-749 - V3 KE, A1 Mini, A1, K1C, Qidi Q1 Pro

      $749 - P1S, X1C, K1 Max, Qidi X-Max, X-Plus

      • too good to resist under $200

yeah that's a crazy good price.

      • +1

        Qidi Q1 Pro @ $679
        P1S @ $899

Thoughts if wanting to do some printing using ASA ABS Nylon filaments?
        I almost feel like it's down to…

ugly + cheaper + heated chamber + maybe better support
        VS
nicer looking + better reputation from sponsored reviews + worse (reported) support

Or worth bumping up to the Qidi X-Plus 3 vs P1S?

        • I thought that I wanted to do some ASA but found out its got plenty of fumes too so even if its's fully enclosed, it still needs to be ventilated.

I think my next will just be a jumbo sized like 350x350

I guess end of the day the looks of the printer won't matter if it can deliver results. Heated chamber will be greatly beneficial for nylon, ABS etc. I had a Q1 pro reordered before getting the cheap SE deal

    • Comes up as $303.20 for me

      • non-Plus is $303.20

        Updated OP.

  • I just bought a se, I'm so tempted to buy this.. any reason to or not to?

    • For the price difference, I would go for KE

      • I've just gotten the se

        • Then enjoy the SE,

If you decide to down the line as the upgrades you won't be too far off in cost

    • I got an SE but I'd return it for this if I could.
