  • Great deal - bought one. Many thanks OP!

  • Grabbed one earlier, thanks OP

  • Good price, get another one.

  • Damn I just cancelled my eBay plus.

  • I have the Apple TV 4k - from the about menu it says A1842 64GB. Is this a worthwhile upgrade?

  • I already have this 4K Wi-Fi + Ethernet 128GB Gen3 model in my living room (I paid close to this price for it over a year ago), I have been wanting another external Apple TV box for my bedroom because I use my bedroom setup a little bit more during winter, but I don’t see the sense in buying another one at the moment when supposedly new upgraded Apple TV models are just around the corner. I would prefer to purchase the upcoming best and highest quality model available for my lounge room setup, and move the 2022 4K Wi-Fi + Ethernet 128GB 3rd Gen model I currently own into my bedroom.

    • A new model has been predicted all year but not happened. There is not a lot that can be added, and the box is already significantly overpowered for what it does.

They may just put a new chip in them because a15s are not manufactured anymore so logistically that’s cheaper, or perhaps push the current wifi model down to a lower price point and add a pro model.

      • It was predicted last year too. Even though I would like a second one, as I previously mentioned, I do already own the current best model available, and I don’t see the sense in spending $200 towards the same older 2022 model, I would rather put that money towards a new updated model regardless whether the upgrade and changes are minor and insignificant, therefore I can do without purchasing a second one until such a time when new models are released.

  • What type of HDMI cable does everyone get for these? Would a cheap 2.0 cable from Amazon be ok?

    • HDMI 2.1 certified cable

      • why does it need ot be certified? wouldn't a standard HDMI cable be fine?

  • is there a browser for this device? i just want to stream f1 and various movies from flixtor and buffstreams, vipbox etc
