I like how the term 'You don't need to do anything' almost sounds like they are doing you a favour/service, except rather than reducing the charges, they are increasing.
I think I'll move across to Dodo mobile for $10 a month for 2Gb of data, included calls and 256Kbit speed if over limit.

I've got three Belong accounts. Two got an email about $19 -> $21 change, effective 30 October, not July. Third one didn't.

I'm astonished that over two years, Belong have force-migrated me from $10->$21 plan. That's a 110% in cost for no meaningful change in service.
The language that they use is especially frustrating. Their email makes no mention of any price increase and merely says my plan is 'changing' to $21 per month. It's feels as if Telstra/Belong are allergic to being upfront with their customers.
Being dodgy is their (all telcos) normal mode of operation. It's more profitable to screw everyone over and over and every now and then pay a few hundred million dollars in fines and be forced to post an apology notice.
I'd like to go back to the days of $1/month and pay for the handful of calls and SMS I make every month. With that arrangement my bill was under $5 most months.
Well they are owned by Telstra so not really surprised. Surely they are losing customers since they got rid of the $10 plan, this will make them lose even more.
