Back in the day I use to buy Assassins Creed CE which came with a nice statue and they use to be $159 tops
These days it’s $300/400 for same quality etc and in my personal opinion, you really have no sense of money if your buying this at these prices or your you have too much money then sense. Either don’t buy them to make a statement or wait for a 50-70% drop in price which happens often when they don’t sell.
I got the bioshock one with the big daddy figure and it was about 160ish.
See anything under $200 for a big set is decent if your a collector

I think the most I paid was a Call of Duty that came with a remote control car. It was kind of worth it.
Then the last time I bought a collectors edition was GTA which came with a pencil case and a cap for $170. That was the final straw for me…
I paid for the small fridge from Call of Duty Black Ops 3, come with other stuffs and season pass as well.

This product is silly overpriced RRP (should be under $200 tops!)
What does $549 get you if you decide to jump into it:
The DLC is useless without the base game (sold separately)
The DLC is not accessible unless you’ve reached a certain point in the base game (again, not included for this price why?)
The art book is not even available right away!! (delivered to you later IF you remember to check and or notify them of your address)

Well its "out of stock", so clearly there is quite a few people who think its "worth" that price.
But I am with you, pretty outrageous price and not even including the base game. As much as I loved my playthrough of Elden Ring, no thanks.

I love this game and have racked up hundreds of hours on it but I cancelled my pre-order of the collectors edition the moment I saw the art book wouldn't be there from the start. Also was getting concerned that it may not be that limited anyway given stock still hanging about at various places.
Still wish I had purchased the original Elden Ring collectors box set and could still be tempted by this if it ever sells for a more reasonable price - I agree with a previous comment, would have been a much better deal if it had the full game + DLC disc in it rather than just a download code.
