On sale is the Commodore C64 design inspired version of the popular 8BitDo Retro Keyboard that hasn't been released in Australia. Besides the new design this one has a new 'Super Stick' joystick alongside the two programmable super buttons to make classic gaming a whole more fun and nostalgic. This is part of the reason why it costs more than the Fami and N editions

Pretty much all the other features remain the same (listed below) including hot swappable keys, 2.4GHz/Bluetooth/USB-C connectivity, Kailh Box V2 White switches, programmable keys and more.

If you're really wanting a numpad 8BitDo have one that doubles as calculator in the same design, however the cost is quite high. Interestingly they already have the design for the new IBM Model M inspired model that's not released yet.

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD

I so want this but can't justify.

Much cheaper than what I purchased for through 8bitdo themselves ($20 USD postage) $196 aud including postage and no tax. Shipping was quick though.

The keyboard is amazing. Feels great typing and the curve of the keys and 'click' really make it feel like a c64. The only disappointment was the micro joystick has no fire button.

I really want one, but no backlight kills it for me, not sure if it could be modded.

      I hear you brother

  • Amazing looking keyboard, I never had a breadbin c64, had 64c

  • Fun fact, you can play just about any C64 game you can think of right in your web browser, for free. No messing around with emulators or plugins.

Top 100 games on below page, but if you use the search bar you can find any game. I guess it's a javascript emulator, I'm not sure how they've done it but can confirm this is the real deal. Controller support or keyboard.
