This is good for gaming. For ML work, stick with Nvidia CUDA. Everything else is a massive pain.
Unfortunate reality of GPUs. Wished I could purchase a cheaper AMD gpu but their perfomance in the AI and ML space leaves much to be desired.

I do love my Sapphire 7900 XT and I've had no issues even in my SF build. I decided to not give money to Nvidia this generation… though I can't promise I will that next gen. We need good competition in the GPU space so will always consider AMD and Intel as an alternative.
Seeing how this matches or slightly outperforms a 7800xt, wouldn't getting a 7800xt for 749$ be a better purchase? I might be missing something.
